Jazz is confirmed, and he has a friggin' sword. No matter what happens, I will watch the show just for that.

Also, I'm loving these Decepticons. Seriously, they're really going to stand out in a crowd. I'm hoping the one at the end is dubbed 'Horri-Bull' (even though he's obviously more bison-like)

Drift is secretly Lord Oda Nobunaga in disguise.

All in all, my anticipation has been cranked to 11.

 

I kind of like a healthy mix of both new characters and old, G1 and other generations.

Anyways, I'm really liking these new Decepticons. I like the purple Con, whom based on comments seems to be Fracture. Also, the humanoid Con with the Galvatron-ish crown on his head seems interesting, as does the bison guy and Thunderhoof.

So yeah, however much I like the show, I'm really happy we're getting an interesting mix characters. Also, I don't think animal alt modes really need to be explained. We typically don't receive explanations for humanoid alt modes. Intelligent life forms don't have to be upright-walking bipeds like us. Transformers have always had a very varied appearance.

 

I think Jazz actually took Sideswipe's sword & then beat the crap out of him with it. One of the pics shows Jazz giving the sword back to Swipe.

 

Its looks a hell of a lot like a black whale with tusks. I don't care what they call them, its head canon now.

I admit, a lot of those con designs are really great.

 

The only potential downside I see to this is them introducing too many new characters at once. Rather have them trickle them in by a span of a few episodes, as opposed to featuring them in the pilot episode already. I can't be too sure at this rate which episodes these screencaps come from, so my worries are probably misplaced.

Otherwise, count me aboard for the anticipation of this new series

 

I'd be more concerned about having a "monster of the day"...

 

I'm not gonna lie, I'm a little bit crushed that Drift is not Bludgeon. HOWEVER, I will be totally game to mod his figure.

That's exactly what this show is going to be. A series of monster/villain of the week episodes where the Autobots will struggle to bring down a single Decepticon, barely manage it, only to have the same bot show up later on in the series exhibiting nowhere near the same level of invincibility it had in its premiere episode because the story won't call for it.

 

It looks like Underbite does have robot mode, not just a beast and vehicle...hmmmm.....when will we see the toy?

Drift's warrior class toy is probably not going to come with his mini-cons.  
Maybe they will make legion class versions that can attach to his arms?

Oh damn Drift and Jazz Confirmed for RID and the fandom is actually excited for the show now....WOOHOO. RID is going to be so so so much fun.

I'm not seeing how McCarthy would like RID Drift, explain further.
