I may go there tomorrow to get the lego star destroyer for my son. I checked the Smyth website. It shows that Powerglide is still available in Edinburgh shop.

It's may not be Powerglide that's available. They share a barcode, so it just means that at least one of the figures from the assortment is still there.

It's basically the same reason that you can't reserve them online.

Combiner wars is listed on Smyths website now. First wave deluxes individually and legends as an assortment. You can't actually order them yet though.

York TRU had a bunch of boxes ready for shelving, including 2 cases of Sunstorms, the wave of AOE Deluxes that includes Slash and Drift, and RID one steps.

Check out Toymaster too if you have one about. I picked up RID Legion Optimus in the Norwich TM. Although maybe Smyths is cheaper than the £6.99 Toymaster were charging for them. Owch...

Happy new year y'all! Toys r us website has the combiner wars deluxes available for delivery now, same price as amazon. Can't tell if the store is open today so can't see for myself. Should be cropping up all over the place now 2015 has landed! Happy hunting! Here's to a full year of things actually getting released in the uk!

Actually bought a Sunstorm in York TRU the other day! Leeds Smythes had some Combiner Wars the other day, but we cleared them out of all but an Alpha Bravo, a Thundercracker, and a Windcharger. Lots of RiD stuff. TRU Leeds had some RiD stuff, too.

Good to know. I might take a whiz out there at the weekend (by 'whiz' I mean a quick trip out there, not urinate). The only thing I'm not really fond of is the concept of paying £15.99 for a Deluxe.

If it softens the blow any, have a look online for the 'BIRTHDAY' codes which TRU do. You can save £5 on a £30 spend and still receive free shipping.

At least it will shave a couple of quid off of them if you purchase 2 at the same time.

Also, if you don't mind a slightly longer order time, you can use FlubIt.com to save around 10% (varies per order). Sign up (I think it's open to everyone now, not just invite only), paste in the Amazon URL of the figure you want and they'll offer you it at a lower price within a day or so. I ordered Silverbolt for £20.89 off there a few days ago (hasn't arrived yet though).
