Umm.... Ranma 1/2??? (Personally I think girls could have a easier time with the "fanservice" than boys)
    Digimon
    Zoids: Chaotic Century
    Oban: Star Racers

Yes! I agree! Totoro and kiki and the cat returns are good films for young kids. Spirited away might scare her now but show it to her when she gets older!

Show her my neighbor Totoro and Spirited Away. Also I think Brave Story is great! It's like Zelda as a movie :D

Thanks for the suggestions. I'll try a few of them with her and I'll let you know which ones she likes. She doesn't like scary stuff so I'll avoid some of them and "fanserivce" type of anime is too old for a four year-old.

    Show her Boku no Pico.

I'm kidding. Please don't google that in a room with people

    I second the Hamtaro nomination.

EVERYTHING by Studio Ghibli. Except Princess Mononoke--hold off on that until she's a little older.

phineas and ferb, peppa pig, dora, frozen, the little mermaid, and aladdin. She is a big fan of princesses. If there are anime that have princesses let me know.

She's still a bit young for a lot of the magical girl stuff, I'd say, but in a couple of years Salior Moon would probably be right up her alley (they might have a dub of the new series done by then). For now? Subs are out because she probably can't read that fast yet, so dubbed shows with princesses in them aimed at a youth audience...

I'd say try Snow Fairy Sugar, as someone else suggested.

But keep in mind, as with all these "how do I get young relatives to like the things I like" threads, there's a very good chance they won't, and a very good chance you can't force them to like something, in the same way your parents and older relatives couldn't with you.

If she gets scared easy then spirited away might be to scary yet. (no face eating things and some blood!) however when she is older sure. She might like maple town also.

Why suggest the Sailor Moon Crystal remake, the original is where it's at.

also I'd wait for a while since Viz has only just started their re-dub.

I'm not really into anime but I seen some. Speed racer, Pokemon and digimon are good. Those are 3 out of the 4 that I have seen. The other is dragon ball. Maybe start dragon ball when she is around 8 - 9.

That show can get a bit violent at times. I wouldn't recommend showing it till she's 10 at least.

Or watch disneys atlantis. It's the same thing.:)

You can also watch kimba but if you saw lion king you saw that one to!

(Still like the lion king by the way.)

I'd recommend the Pretty Cure series, however only the original series has an English dub.

Oh come the Dic Dub is not that, if only just missing content plus the English names are just as iconic at this point.

    Dude Cousins LMAO.

I honestly think the whole dub was a disservice to the series, show is a lot better than people give it credit for. The new Viz dub while i haven't heard too too much it's pretty good so far, plus the girl this whole thread is for is still rather young, she'll be the right age when the whole redub is released or at least most of it.
