What bundles are there for the Xbone this holiday season?

 

Anyone here have experience with the Madcatz TE for the One? I know the regular TEs are pretty well regarded, just wondering if the next gen version is as quality.

 

Just found out my mother is not too keen on me getting Xbox Live. She doesn't like the idea of me playing with other people.

How would this effect me even being able to play games on Xbox One? Without Live is what I mean.

 

According to your profile you're 18. Just buy a Live card and whenever she asks say you're playing single player. Simple solution.

You're 18 it's your money but if you're not gonna get Live then I don't see the point in buying either an Xbone or PS4 (with Plus). Buy a Wii U.

Well I can kind of see how that's a problem, but really, not wanting you to play with other people is kind of weird. Like, does she not want you to interact with real people outside? Because online gaming requires even less than that.

 

I'm not like that.

Good on ya. Don't get me wrong, parents should absolutely be aware generally what their children are doing online, but only when they're, y'know, children.

Then again when I was developing the internet hadn't quite yet sprouted predators at every corner do what do I know?

A hacker group called the Lizard Squad DDOSed Xbox Live and Playstation Network. Both networks were down but are working now.

 

Again with the pointless DDOS attacks? Man how many of them need to be arrested before they take a hint and quit?

 

Not completely functional. Tried to redeem some codes on the PSN earlier, then got signed out of it. This was about an hour and a half ago, after the attacks were supposedly over.

 

Yeah, I still can't get the update. See, it was working, but there were glitches. My codes would redeem, but I got an error message. I tried to download Minecraft and couldn't. Eventually it just could not connect to Live, and since I didn't know of the attacks I tried restoring system defaults (I mean I only got it today so it's no biggie) but sicne it won't connect I can't get the update, so I'm stuck in update limbo. So I shut it off and started watching Linkara and I'll just try later.

Also no shit, when you restore system defaults, there's a spelling typo in the message. " If you sre planning on reselling..." I feel your pain, MS.

 

Yeah Xbox Live and PSN are down right now I believe. Really hate the people that do this, just fuck everything up for thousands of people and for what?

Split, you're gonna have to wait as you are. Hopefully it all gets resolved soon, for both PSN and XBL. Annoys me that loads of people will be in the same situation that you are :/
