After the issues with Scoria, Fans Toys admitted they had let their guard down and promised to improve QC for the next releases.

I merely asked a simple question in a normal tone of voice.

While it's not QC in the usual sense, considering the potential ramifications of this mistake, it's arguably much worse.

 

Since we are asked to burn the boxes... presumably they are on the way? - 

 

Remind me how much Artfeather fucked the scene over with Bumblebee. The poster boy and a much more 'sacred' character than Swoop.

I was just about to say this ... Lol. Burn the boxes - lest the CIA finds out.

 

Imagine running a company and producing 3000 boxes (its a guess, I don't know the exact number) and realising a spelling error on them via computer/human error. Are you gonna write off the boxes, adding more delays to suppliers and consumers, or release them and explain the situation?

I imagine they cost a lot..... and it took forever to get the boxes and packing in the factory done. Would you pay labourers to empty these boxes (risking scuffs scratches damage etc) and repack in new boxes adding more cost?

 

I would print sticker corrections and put them over the mistake on the box. That's what Hasbro does.

Seriously, people. The sky is not falling. The world will not end. The 3P scene will continue. If (and I think it's a big if) some of the American etailers receive C&D letters for this specific product, I suspect we'll still find ways to get these figures. It's not like Captured Prey and BBTS will destroy all their stock.

 

You're assuming people had any sense to begin with.
