    This.

    Yup. :)

I don't understand why there's the need to design such ugly faces. I disagreed on Bay's decision to approve the faces of Twins, Wheelie, Brains and Que.

While I disliked them there's a ton of people who like them.

lol@ "power-set". The Arcee-triplets "power-set" was rolling and shooting. The same as every other Autobot.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to how Arcee was made up of three, separate units.

Because he is a racist, misogynist asshole who only cares about money and treats the fans like shit. He's as much of hack as Dan Didio and Pat Lee.

Not just critics there are lots of people who don't get paid for their opinions that don't enjoy how Michael Bay makes movies. For that song in Team America World Police to work lots of people had to agree about how bad Pearl Harbor was.

Because Bay is something of a megalomaniac. He LOVES being the center of attention. Of course there are many folks fans can rightfully blame for the flaws in the Transformers films just as much, if not more then Michael Bay. But just as Bay is more then happy to take soul credit for the film's box office take and positive effect on the brand, he's also just as willing to take the blame for the bad stuff. Because either way, it makes him the center of the freaking universe.

And if Bay is taking all the credit for the films, it should be no surprise to anyone that fans focus so much of their hate and blame on him. And Bay doesn't care because he's still making headlines, raking in millions and getting the Hollywood clout to do anything he wants, like his The Last Ship miniseries. It's all a win-win for him, weather fans love him or hate him.

Bay wasn't even a Transformers fan before the 07 movie. Hasbro should've hired someone better

It wasn't Hasbro. Steven Spielberg was the guy who brought him on board.

Bay has helped elevated TF to a new level of attention. That's a good thing.

He is a good action scene maker but he isn't a good movie maker.

He is yet to make a TF movie with a half decent plot. His understanding of continuity is garbage, case in point being that all 4 movies contradict each other in some way or another.

The main villain in 1-3 was, for the most part, completely wasted.

His love of the USA armed forces was so obnoxious it hurt the first 3 movies. You've got sentient old bio-mechanical beings who can survive atmospheric re-entry but get taken down by army weaponry.

Transformers as a movie franchise is at a crossroads right now.

It can choose to step up and aim for Marvel levels of quality and appeal or continue to be a mindless explosion fest.

The money it rakes in is academic. Good movies get remembered regardless of their box office performance. For example, The Avengers will still be talking about 20 years for being so ambitious and satisfying. I doubt we will be saying the same about TF 1-4.

Marvel don't have a 100% strike rate but there's been at least one release each year that nailed fun and good.

    GOTG is one such case.
