Let me put it this way, this thread is for the toys that were made for the "Transformers Prime/Beast Hunters" Show. It does not matter if they are the US or Asia version of the toys so long as they are from that line. Does that make sense?

 

Got it anyways what I want to ask was can you mix any of the sword bot combiners or it has to be all three 3 samurai and all 3 shinobi (not including optimus exprime).

^cool beans! Personally GO! hunter Shockwave and Gurren Predaking stand out. They are the two must gets for sheer awesomeness.

 

I was thinking about getting all three samurai swordbots first but hunter shockwave looks nice so does gurren predaking.

Prime made a new friend, and borrowed a few new weapons.

 

Nice I forgot jetfire weapons have pegs could use those with other AM transformers.

 

I'll always love this line because it was the first that got me into doing repaints!

Obviously, Ratchet is still a work in progress (Unless I can find another one cheaper online, then I'll start over again). Other than him, Smokescreen got the most work - had to strip some paint, then reapply a different color. FE Arcee was simple - just paint her forearms blue and add the pink/metallic highlights. FE Prime just got his grey plastics painted (and his brown bits painted red) - he's an awesome figure that didn't need much work. FE Bumblebee was just a few metallic paint apps on the shoulders, then painting the fakes tire and wheels inside his legs. Beast Hunters Prime got a few highlights, the grey into silver treatment, and I painted the God-awful green plastic black, like it made my soul feel.

(I know Nemesis isn't really a Con, but I only have three Con figures, so he helps fill out their lineup). Nemesis got the most work here - took my PRID Optimus, gave him the backpack mod (which I found in Radicons), then added lots of paint apps. Not perfect, but I like it. Starscream just got his clear plastic and grey plastics painted, as well as adding red to his missiles and head crest. Soundwave just got a bit of deep blue and purples added to the seams on the figure. The Vehicon's light bluish-purple got painted a dark bluish-purple, it just came out black in these pix.

Yeah, that's PRID Bulkhead repainted into Ironhide. My second full-body repaint (after Nemesis), and I think it looks a lot better. The color scheme fits the mold, and Ironhide's attitude fits The Wreckers. I only repainted the figure because I literally just got my FE Bulkhead a week ago and didn't want to display two versions of him. Speaking of FE Bulkhead, he got the darker green painted onto his arms, his grey (and weird tan) bits got painted silver or gunmetal grey (except for the shoulder pads - I painted those black to be more screen accurate), and I added some scratches to the robot parts that aren't visible in vehicle mode (I also did that to Ironhide). Wheeljack got the inside of his legs painted to match the dark bits on the outside, and some paint applied to the inside of his arms. Magnus got a good number of red bits added to him (elbows, shoulders, hands, "toes"), I painted his windshield to match the cartoon, and the aforementioned grey into metallic. I also painted the Forge Gold instead of bland grey.

My Prime collection



For me, my most glaring omissions are First Edition Bulkhead and Deluxe Ratchet. I have a BH Bulk because he came in the Wal-Mart 2-pack I bought to get BH Prowl.



On the Decepticon side, my biggest regret is never picking up Megatron. I saw him in stores a few times, but could never pull the trigger for some stupid reason. I've thought about getting a Dark Energon Megs from BBTS, since that can typically be had for much cheaper than regular Voyager Megatron.

At one point, I wanted to make it a goal to have the entire Prime line, because I loved the show and I really love the asthetics of the bot designs. Then they started releasing Generations figures I couldn't pass over and screwed my whole plan up.
