Interesting idea. Not my cup'o'tea, though. All modes just seem too kibblish.

Yrah but if hasbro is already cutting corners with current figs and can't even hide the kibble as it is now I still don't see this any better.

I'd buy every one of these without a second thought. Amazing idea.

This is genius and I would definitely buy the Optimus Prime if Hasbro produced one!

Love the idea. But knowing how prone to cutting corners Hasbro is the end result would most likely fail to live up to the excellence of the concept.

I would love this. Bayformers into G1 is a great idea!

Wow these are really neat. I'd definitely pick them up if they were available.

and they do an impressive job selling the concept.

The G1 purists yes they hate the movies. However I think there's far more G1 fans that also appreciate the movie toys, than there are purists. That being said I think this idea would have far too limited appeal to be marketable for Hasbro to sink the resources necessary to bring this to life.

As long as they still had altmodes as well, I'd be ALL OVER these. I could see these going beyond G1/movie ones, too: G1/Prime Soundwave, G1/Animated Ultra Magnus, Armada/Cybertron Starscream, G1/G2 Megatron, I could keep going for ages.

This is an awesome concept! I'd have definitely been interested. It's like the Evolution sets built into one toy.

So they cannot transform into a vehicle mode, right? No thanks. I dont like the concept, nor the prototypes...

While it does not seem doable for retail, it is a pretty sweet concept.
Hope to see more of them.

I think the concept is fantastic and the guy deserves full credit for the time and ingenuity. I don't think he ever released these images thinking they would become production toys, but it makes for a fantastic resume and business card all in one.
Here's hoping Hasbro is paying attention and the guy at least gets an interview.

This is the kind of thing I think Hasbro should release and target only the collector's market.
I would totally buy some if not all of them.

I like the concept, but the execution needs a little work.
That being said, I'd love to have this line be a real thing.

It's....It's an interesting idea to say the least.

I wouldn't mind the idea of this becoming a future toyline, with a lot more tweaking the designs, it could actually work out really well.

It's a really cool idea, but being that I'm a G1 fan, and not a fan of the movies, well, I don't really have a need/want for that "other" bot mode.

Now, I would be interested in TFs that two alt-modes -- one Cybertronian vehicle, and one Earth vehicle.

Interesting idea for a KIDS TOY. Seems too many people forget the Transformers brand is supposed to be for kids. I think these are an excellent idea, personally. Reminds me of the Mutations tmnt toys, that had box turtles transform into ninja turtles, punks into bebop and rocksteady, etc. it's a great "generational gap" tool as well... Dads can tell their sons, "this is what prime looked like when I was a kid." I might be missing something, but it LOOKS like only one vehicle mode, am I correct? Not a big deal... Honestly, I don't know if a vehicle mode is even needed...

Can see the potential for prime, megatron, and galvatron... But have zero clues on how you go from ape-plane starscream to g1... That's gonna take more than just moving parts... Maybe a hallucinagen or two...

I can see kids buying these big time. The design is perfect for kids.
