It was an awesome site but I hope its users will find either this site or another to continue there transformers creativity!!!!!!

I think everyone called this back when they shifted directions from way back. Good riddance. I will miss the interesting Prime designs for the new guys through.

The game sucked bad...

 

the worst part of this is loosing the characters, and now there's no hope for generations figures of them  

I loved playing as different characters, using different weapons,
the only thing I didn't like was that it wasn't a MMO and there was no campaign or storyline

that and the fact that we couldn't play on cybertronian maps.

I was invited to the Beta, but could never get the blasted thing to run on my system, so I never got to try. But I think I know how everyone feels since I know the pain of Mobage killing of the GIJoe game I'd been playing for over a year.

Nice that they are offering refunds. Mobage did quite the opposite - They ran a big cash grab event, then immediately announced the closing of the game with no refunds.

 

While I can't say I loved the game I feel bad for those involved in the project and fans who still played.

 

Probably nothing. It's all on Jagex, not Hasbro.

It wasn't an MMO like they originally planned, which pissed a lot of people off.

 

It was a great idea UNTIL.... It was announced how much it would cost to buy character packages. I think most people like myself are sick and tired of the pay to play formula. So this does not come as a surprise to me.

I really feel bad for the players that invested money in this game just to see it get shut off.

 

I made great friends on that site during RP days before the game was fully up. My heart hurts a little bit.  

Yet the game showed great promise.....can Hasbro at least give us figures of some of the characters? That would be fantastic at least.

But anyway, I frequented that site quite a bit before the game came out, so I'll kind of miss it for that.

 

Well... there goes our chance of getting figs of those cool characters. Oh well...  

 

Damn shame. Not cause of the game. The game was garbage. Cause many people are losing their jobs.

NNNOOOOOO!!!!!!! I was looking forward to playing Universe. I'm so sad :*(. On the up side, my day can only get better from here...surely.

 

I didn't even know that this game had been released yet.

 

Ah my bad. But hey who knows on the figures....i have a feeling Hasbro may put them out as i can see idw using several in the comics....heres me being uncharacteristically optimistic.

 

this news isn't really anything unexpected in my eyes.

The game took far too long to make, they kept changing too much shit, not to mention the whole selling point from the get-go was that it was originally supposed to be an MMORPG and there were just far too many red flags that made it pretty awful.

not to mention the packages they offered were all around terrible and laughably high.

The designs were okay, but the transformation from vehicle to robot weren't actually transformations at all.

The promos for the characters looked cool though, but that's literally where it ended for me.

 

Wait, was this game ever up?

I thought it was still in beta.  

 

While I had no interest in playing the game (just not a multiplayer fan) the only reason this saddens me is because I was looking forward to see new characters, especially new jet and heli-formers. That's really it. Of course there's people losing their jobs which is depressing as well.
