-dislike new and cheap-ass RID figures (no voyagers? the hell Hasbro??)

    Welp, found Deluxe Generations Chromia.

Is she supposed to come with only 1 gun though? on the art and on all the promo photos it shows her with 2 pistols.

Meh. To bad she can't hold the riot shield (bike windshield) it's affixed via a metal pin.

Somebody beat me to Arcee. More than likely somebody here. Gratz to you. :)

Thanks Doc, I appreciate the input. I think small groups from similar lines will be sold in a lot. Considering most of it is stuff that was easily found in stores over the past couple of years, do you think it's worth trying to sell them on here?

TFWiki says: "Her first stock photo showed her holding one of her wavemate Arcee's guns along with her own one. A second versionGenerations Chromia Second Stock Photo.jpg of her stock photo was released in November 2014 on the official Transformers Facebook page, without the extra gun."

I think that is a good plan, especially if you have a "cast" of show characters from a line. If folks tend to buy lots, that is how they like them. It is DEFINITELY worth trying to sell them on here. Number 1, it is free...#2, you have a targeted demographic....#3, expect to get low-balled. If you do, big deal...either ignore them or simply say no thanks, it's of no loss. I've tried craigslist before, but you get a lot of flakes and shady folks. I wish Crave was still around. They used Facebook to advertise and I sold a lot of figures that way that I didn't expect to sell :2c:

Expect the worst Owen, I'm selling stuff on eBay and it's been piece of shit after piece of shit asking the dumbest questions/lowest offers. Like Doc said, TFW might yield better results.

Thanks, Owen. well, that clears that up. :lol

Guess I better hurry and get Arcee somehow.

Rumor is: Arcee and chromia though in the same wave aren't being shipped together. I really hope it's not true as that will make it really tough to find her.

But I'll never give up on the search. :D

Just a quick reminder to those who attend the meetups, that there is one scheduled this Sunday at The Main Event in Chandler/Tempe (near IKEA- Warner/I-10). Same meeting time as normal and the address to The Main Event is on the first page of this thread.

    Thanks folks!

Can anyone tell me where I can find tiny Sparky decals? I need them to replace the Autobot logos on Cloud Rodimus. I had only seen it in one set of pics online where the colors looked like it, but saw him at Brandon's office today (won't have the money for him till after Christmas), other then the orange (which there is less of in alt modes) his colors really look like ASU's colors. Of course Cloud Roadbuster (I forgot if the figure was renamed or not, it is Roadbuster's mold) is U of A colors if you are of that persuasion.

Won't make it to the meet up today guys. Slept horrible and in turn cold got worse. Staying home in bed to get better. Hope you all have a great time and we are still on for next Sunday and Hobbit 3!

    Details: Harkins Tempe Marketplace 16
    2000 East Rio Salado Pkwy
    Tempe AZ 85281

Show times are: 9 am, 12:20 pm, 3:40 pm, 7 pm, 10:20 pm

I'm leaning toward the 12:20 showing. It'll give me plenty of time to drive down and then drive back before it gets super late afterwards. Feel free to share this with others. (bring spouses, girlfriends, significant others and kids that will like a longer movie.)

We will probably hit a restaurant afterward for food. Not sure which, open to suggestions. Last time it was Smash Burger. But there are plenty to choose from at Tempe Marketplace.

And an update to the Map!

I fixed a few things, Brandon's Office was in the wrong location. Added Main Event Entertainment. And I believe another member of the group.

If you'd like to be added just give me your address or your major cross streets (via PM or comment) and I'll have you on the next update.

I picked up RiD Steeljaw today. He's a fun toy, though he of course has poseability issues. I chucked the packaging before looking at the instructions, forgetting that they're printed on the back, but he's easy enough to figure out. It took me a minute to realize you had to slide his forearms down to use his elbow joints, but they feel too tight for me to actually bend them, and I don't want him to break. The stock photo on the package suggests that he actually does not have an elbow joint.

You know, it occurred to me that if one were so inclined, you can scan the codes for the app right through the packaging. Hell, you might even be able to do it from photos of the figures. That tells me either Hasbro doesn't care and the microtransactions in the app won't have anything to do with the figures, or Hasbro really didn't think this whole thing through. Either is possible. Another thing: while cost-cutting measures like printing the instructions on the back of the package and simplifying figure designs might be great for Hasbro, those savings don't seem to be passed down to the consumer, since these RiD figures are the same price as the Generations deluxes. That may be more on the side of the retailers, though.

Had a light turn out at Sunday's meetup, but I understand people probably had shopping and family things going on due to the holidays. That said, if people had specific issues with the location or timing please let me know so that I can avoid scheduling during such inopportune times in the future.

For those who made it out, we had a great time! We talked toys, did a gift exchange and gossiped about those who didn't make it out. :p  (kidding)

FYI; I've been reminded by a few people that I listed Jan's meetup as taking place at Comikaze. To clarify; this location will actually Brandon's office in Jan and Comikaze in Feb. If anyone has issues with the dates and placed I've listed on the front page please let me know ASAP.

Also, please remember the movie meetup for the final Lord of the Rings movie this weekend! Unfortunately I won't be able to attend (will be out of town on vacation), but I hope those who make it out enjoy the heck out of it! And please check with Aimee (Ladywreck) if you have questions about time/place.

This is how 'out-of-the-loop' I am as I didn't realize there was an app for these toys. What is the app supposed to do??

If I had to guess, I would say that Hasbro did not think the whole thing through. I wish I had marketing data to suggest otherwise, but I think that they feel they must come up with some marketing gimmick for each new line of toys. Clearly, the gimmicks are not geared for collectors, but I wonder if they even work :inquisiti  As far as passing down the costs to consumers, I can only assume, but I believe that is a retailer issue. I mean, even if it costs the retailers less to get them from Hasbro, they probably see it as a bigger profit for them, but who knows really?

Decembers are always difficult for many folks :2c:
