    That's wonderful!

I actually have two other concerns (I think they'll fix themselves).

I had problems pre ordering and ended up with three order confirmations (with different order numbers). Only one billed to paypal. I sent emails on the two wrong ones mentioning this.

Also, we're moving soon. I used my parents mailing address. Do you think I'll have difficulties getting the shipping address changed once we have our new address? (if it goes to my parents it will be an inconvenience, but I'll still get it eventually)

damn, i'm really tempted to order this, but personally it's hard for me to spend $400 blindly w/o any reviews.

Shouldn't be a problem, you can send new address later (as soon, as you will have it) and you can mention that you might be moving and ask to contact you for address check if possible.

3A CS can be reached at [email protected]

omfg i can't believe i just placed an order for this guy lol. well, dmk-02, off to ebay you go - i'll be holding onto my dmk-01 for just a bit longer, will see what 3a announces next month before i decide what to do with him too.

i was contemplating maketoys utopia, but i guess my $400 went to this guy over maketoys instead =(

If I can get confirmation that these releases will be in scale - I wouldn't hesitate to pull the trigger!

3A figures are on a whole other level than what we expect from Takara and Third Party Transformers. Mind you, this does not transform, the detail and craftsmanship that goes into their figures (plus the sheer size of this guy) makes this a remarkable deal (especially since shipping is included - shipping from overseas would be 40$ making this actually a 350$ figure).

This is what I envision for post-masterpiece, original 84 demographics (6-10 in 84), when we're in our 50s. But transforming, and G1. And double the price, 2 a year.

Get planning HasTakTom. :)  Or, do it now, I'm ok with that. :)

for sure. i already placed my preorder last night. was wrestling with whether i wanted to start hoarding non-transformable figures, let alone its massive size when my space is already limited, but the detailing is what eventually sold me. i just hope prime isn't too much more expensive, otherwise i'm not sure if i want to invest so much money into this line. i'll see if my feelings change between now and when he's released. worst case scenario is that i sell it, but i didn't want to be caught regretting not preordered it once the preorders end and i realize i want it after all.

btw, what is the price difference between the exclusive version on bambaland and other retailers like bbts? i don't care much for the control pillar...

Not sure what the price difference will be, it's generally very little, but the biggest bonus in buying from bamba is that worldwide shipping is included in that price. With retailers you might end up paying close to that price and have to tack on shipping with that beast..so bamba has its benefits for sure.

I totally agree with you. My space is limited as well but the detail is just too good to pass up. IMO these are the most movie accurate figures we will get and the fact that they don't transform doesn't bother because my 'toys' tend to stay in bot mode anyways.

I've wanted high end figures like this since the first movie came out.

DMK might have done it for me if they'd pursued it. But these are nicer and they've already decided to make more than DMK will ever have, so I'm getting (even though I have no idea where I'll put them- I hope they aren't really to scale).

I hope they aren't to scale either!! As it is, this bee will barely fit in a detolf which is how I display my stuff!!
