Was only a matter of time after they were sighted in Ireland.

Didn't this happen back when the Prime line first dropped? The UK got it first (well Ireland and the UK in this case). This time around- based on the ho hum designs pretty much- I'm okay with it and willing to sit tight for US based sightings.

yeah but typically we will sit on wave 1 for about 5 months till the US overtakes.

But back on topic cant say I will be rushing out to buy any of this stuff.

Wow that was FAST, why can't we be as fast and up to date with the Generations line? Instead of being a year behind.

Myself already Pre-ordered Bumblebee, Steeljaw, Grimlock, Strongarm, Fixit & Underbite from Japan so I'll have to wait till March.

Yeah, remember that rest of the world, whilst you're all going to your Wallmarts and your K-Marts and your 7/11's to buy your RID wave 7 toys, just remember who got wave 1 first!

And who will still only actually be able to buy wave 1! Maybe wave 2. If they can be bothered. So probably not.

Chances are we'll never see wave two in ireland,
We only ever got the first wave of generations (FOC)
And none of the trilling 30 stuff

Although we did get most of the prime line, so if we do get more of this lineThen we won't get combiner wars stuff

Which , ironically, is the line I prefer

Gee whiz! You mean we get to have our first (and probably only) wave of Rid early, AND at an inflated price point? This is my 'trying to contain my excitement' face.

For a second there, I had forgotten the reason Hasbro had simplified the toy designs was to save THEM money, not the consumer. And the previous posters are right, we will probably never see Combiner Wars on these shores, on official release. Makes me sad.

Gonna reserve judgment on these figures, and pick them up if there is some kind of multi buy offer, once retailers realise that only ever stocking the first wave of toys means inevitable overstocks of the same damn molds again and again...

I will probably get these when on offer as I think £14.99 is too much. Looking forward to combiner wars, but I just know if toys r us stock them it will be the wave one deluxe's, no legends (still have a swarm of bumble bees in my local) and maybe the wave one voyagers after much complaints about how stupid it is to sell limbs but no torsos ( prove me wrong toys r us, prove me wrong...)

Unless Generations stops being TRU Europe exclusive, there won't be any Combiner Wars here full stop.

2nd hand info i got locally indicates Smyths may have exercised a little influence to get these earlier than other retailers... It appears to have been a flat year for TF sales if my local Smyths is anything to go by.

for what it's worth, Smythes is an Irish owned toy retail chain that operates in the UK, so the original post does make sense for the UK to catch up, if folk can just be cool about stuff without nitpicking all the time .... oh wait, we're all toy collectors ;)

Surprised to see things arriving so fast outside of the States, but then I think I can take my time with picking up these because people in Ireland and Blighty will probably be looking at the first wave of figures for a very long time before anything else shows up.

Anyone know if any of this line is going to be a *shudder* TRU exclusive in the UK?

Picked up Strongarm and Bumblebee in Sheffield earlier, they look pretty good, including Grimlock.

Well, they only thing I could potentially see being TRU exclusive would be the Warriors, and those have just been found at Smyths.

With The Entertainer and Amazon UK also listing all the known assortments thus far, I see little chance for TRU exclusivity.

Interesting to see Grimlock continuing the trend of Dinobots being branded with their Dino mode art while all the other characters use their bot mode art.
