9 AoE Deluxe Snarls at the Austin Hwy Walmart.

 

Picked up Brainstorm at Pearland Wal Mart.

It's probably way out of your way, but I got one this morning at TRU in Pasadena. I had to ask the guy in electronics to find it, as they had them locked up in the manager's office. He said they only got 5 in total.

 

I snagged one of those Batman figures this morning here in Austin at the research TRU. The electronics guy was hiding them behind his counter in a box. They weren't gonna put them out yet... possibly at all. They got in 12 and as far as I could tell they still had them all minus the one I got.

 

It was a bust for me at both Bunker Hill and Willowbrook TRU. Could not get any assistance at the Bunker Hill location and Willowbrook sold their Batmans early.

 

Went by Bunker Hill TRU and was able to score me a Neca Batman figure. I went to where I thought they would be but only saw the nes Batman figure. So I went over to electronics and saw an employee bring out a Batman figure for a guy and I asked him if he had any more and he went to the back and got me one. He is a very nice looking figure. I hope Neca makes more like these.

 

That is what I get for not being patient and waiting for an employee to assist me. I thought I would have better luck at the Willowbrook TRU. Guess I was not meant to have this figure then.

 

I have gots to get me one of them der batmans!!

 

Trying to get acquainted with the San Antonio area. Was around the North Star area today --

WalMart (Jones Maltsburger/410/281) - plenty of AoE Deluxe Snarl, and his wavemates. Most of them were placed on the side as you enter the store. Also saw a Windblade if anyone was still after her.

TRU - Shelves look filled. Mostly AoE stuff. 3 Generations Jetfires, and several Generations Cosmos/Swerve wave.

Target (Park North) - Other than a Roadbuster and Sky Byte, nothing else of noteworthy.

Still seems no sign of Brainstorm locally, yet. Wished I'd grabbed him when he was on HTS.


Request: Anyone locally know or can recommend a place in town for comics? I like Comixology, but I'd like to grab physical copies when I can. Appreciate any leads.

 

Heroes and fantasies has all the comics u could want and they even do special order...

 

Will check it out sometime this week! It's off of 410, right?

Also, will look into the local meetup. Is it this weekend?

 

How much was just the figure alone?

 

4923 northwest loop 410, between Evers and Callaghan outside loop 410. nd yea the meet up is this weekend. Also were doin a white elephant or something like that. Bring a wrapped gift if u like to participate. Its this sunday 1-4pm at lion and the rose off 410 & blanco. If u have tfs to sell maybe trade ur welcome to bring them.

 

It's a bundle so you can't buy one without the other, $25.

My wife picked one up for me this morning at the same location as Big_Truk_Convoy. Soundwavempl, I will help you find one! Don't give up on Batman. He wouldn't give up on you!   He really is a great looking figure!

Brainstorm is in Austin. I found it this morning at the Walmart off of 290/71 and south Mopac. It was laying on top of some barbies in the next aisle. Anyway, the wrist is a bit floppy, but I was able to tighten it up not problem. Also, I have no issue getting the head in and out.

 

There is also a shop called Alien Worlds off San Pedro and Oblate down a bit south of North Star Mall and the Park North Target you were at. They also have a second location which is mixed in with the Alamo Draft House West Lakes area, which is off 410 just before marbach and after the 151 interchange.

Also there is a shop called Dragons Lair near the medical center by Fredricksburge Rd and Medical Dr. off the I-10 and Loop 410 area.

Then there is Bazinga Comics a=on the far north side of SA off 281 and Evans Rd.

Sweet hope to see you at our meet up this sunday, like Jazz210 said, its at the lion and rose pub off 410 and blanco, it is at 1pm. Feel free to bring who ever and what ever you feel like bringing, show off or sell, it doesnt matter =)

 

Picked up Brainstorm at the Wal-Mart on 121 in The Colony. Two left. Saw one this morning at the WalMart on Coit and George Bush that the headmaster was disconnected from the head. Man watch the head on this one guys. More sketchy than it should be.

Awesome. Sounds fun! So far, it seems I'll make it, so count me in. Most of my collection stayed behind and is still back home in storage, but I'll bring along my MP Wheeljack. And I'll be sure to bring a robot for the gift exchange. Looking forward to meeting new faces this Sunday.
