Ok using mapquest, I have a 48 mile route planned for saturday morning that will cover 5 Walmarts:
    1. Torrance, CA 90503
    2. Long Beach, CA 90802
    3. Lakewood, CA 90712
    4. Long Beach (N), CA 90808
    5. Paramount, CA 90723

God help me if I don't find some Alts that day...

Well, the 60 some odd miles was just to that Wal*Mart. If we want to count the TOTAL amount of miles I drove that day for the 6 Wal*Marts I hit up, it would be more like 130 miles total. :(

    But not at 2AM. :p

Remember, I hit up 6 Wal*Marts that day that I found R&R and found nothing. And I only found them around midnight at the 24 hour one. My advice? Go later at night when they're restocking. :thumb

Yeah, definitely go between 8-closing time. I think that's when they start wheeling all the pallets out for the night stocking crew. I went to the Milpitas Walmart in the early morning and nothing. Then I hit it again later at about 10 something same day and struck gold.

Hmm. I just called the Long Beach Walmart (Which is 24 hours) and they said that new TF shipments will be in on friday or saturday. The lady seemed to know what she was talking about and knew about the exclusives. Perhaps I should postpone my 5 store trek.

Me: Do you have TF alternators in stock?
Her: Nah we're still waiting on those.
Me: You know what I mean right? The exclusives
Her: Yeah the ones that look like real cars.
Me: Yeah, do you know when or how many you'll get?
Her: Well we usually get new TFs on Friday or saturday so check back then.

I plan to call her every night.

Went to the Walmart in Long Beach today and they didn't have anything new. The aisle was full of classics and some Alts. All old though. Same with the Target in Lakewood. Everything seems to be shoved off to the side now to make room for all the crazy Spiderman 3 stuff.

Yes, employees at WM don't know jack about ANYTHING! *sigh* It is absolutely maddening!

Man, I am soooooooooooo glad I didn't have to hunt for my Alts. this time. It's such a relief! Thank you so freakin' much, RW! I think this is actually the fastest I've ever gotten Alts. after they came out.

no rumble or ravage Alts at either store. :(
They did have a ton of the Spiderman 3 Movie figures though...
And I found something but posted the findings on the "other site" some SF Bay collectors go to...

Which Long Beach Walmart? If you could pick me up two of each I am good on payment with a liitle extra for the favor. I can do the same here in Orange County for you if you want. I really want to also get at least one of those "trays" as well. You obviously have found someone who knows what the hell we are talking about, I have not found that same down here in the OC.
