Yeah, the lack of a production piece and preorder listing is what leads me to beleive it won't get a release any sooner than spring 2015, if that.

 

I don't know, I'm getting a bad feeling that this project has died a death, too. I hope not, as I *really* want this, but OmniGonix has gone curiously quiet, and there have been no preorders for something that was supposed to hit next month and then got pushed only to January. I really hope we see a coloured test shot soon, but the pessimist in me is wondering whether we'll ever see anything of this again...

 

If it's cancelled or significantly delayed, I imagine it's either due to some major problem with a factory, or he got wind of an official Sunstreaker coming from Takara next year. It would be nice for him to chime in and let us know what's going on....  

 

I would assume it's still on. Lots of 3Ps go quiet for months at a time. We're on here all the time so it seems like they have disappeared. But usually it's just that there isn't significant news to share so we don't hear anything.

Everyone said Microblaze Onslaught was axed too because of a long period of silence...
If you get stressed about a 3rd party project going silent, you'll need to start early on anti-depressants and blood pressure meds

Unless MP-25 is announced to be Sunstreaker before preorders go live for this, it's highly unlikely it would be canceled...

 

I doubt it's cancelled, they only just showed a rough prototype a little while ago so they're probably getting into the nitty gritty details of making everything fit and work as it should.

If this project is canceled, hopefully another company can buy the rights and remold it into Sunstreaker.

 

KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken, not Keith's Fantasy Club) should just bring back the Chicken Little sandwich already. They were delicious (at least, from what I remember as a kid). These (unsubstantiated) cancellation rumors, not quite as appetizing though. So is the sky truly falling?  

 

Lol the only person who thinks it's cancelled is 2003 Megs a few posts ago. Boy, it doesn't take much to start a rumour round here

No, ye of little faith. Don't give up. The designer will post more when production is further along. It's looking like it won't come out until some time in 2015. That's just my opinion on seeing test shots from other companies, go to final production. Maybe mid 2015, the earliest if we're looking to see a low QC quality project.

What's so weird about this statement is that this figure is already designed to be a Sunstreaker. So if someone else bought the design it would not need to be remolded.
