Maybe the gun can rotate back and the barrels shortened to make them look like rocket boosters? Either way, any upgrade parts to make it look like any of the Zoid ligers is a win win for me and many others me thinks.

All they really need to do is make one set of armor upgrade parts, that have holes or slots, that all the other Liger variant specific parts can plug into. If they want to really get into accuracy, they can make multiple armor bits in the colors of said ligers.

The potential for recolors of base mold is also kind of sick when you think about how many characters this can represent with a small bit of remolding, different head etc.

 

If PE makes a add-on armor pack for this similar to the Jager or the Mugen Ligers.......   

 

I would definitely go for a non-part-forming armor pack. Not like the one coming for PE warden. Something that can be an armor for both alt and bot modes.

 

Aww, this sux. He looks nothing like Leo Convoy anymore. He is missing just about every significant land mark of the original design. This looks more like a zoid with a Primeish/Gundam head.

Dang, I was really looking forward to this, guess I can save some cash now.

 

Really starting to like this, especially after these new pics. Going to have to see this in color, specifically the beast mode, as that will make or brake this for me.

As a huge Beast Wars fan, and an all around fan of big cats, this may end up being something that I just can't go without. Can't wait to see more!

Alt and Bot both look really cool but I don't see a whole lot of actual transforming going on here. Am I missing something?

 

oh the potential is uncanny depending on if and what they want to do if they do an add-on so many ligers that they could prob get everybody to buy at least 2 of these, bcuz i would need HMM Red Blade Liger Leon Special on top of already needing the Nemesis Lio/Primal ver.

 

i got to thinking and the nemesis ones that people are doing aren't bad but he didn't have nowhere near as much teal in his black form mostly black, silver and hints very few hints of teal which were on the mid section and claws other wise he was just a black lion with a silver mane and tail and a lil more silver in robot mode, all the Nemesis/Black Primes don't have to be exactly alike ya'll, varity is welcome

I wasn't a big fan of the beast wars saga but i heard it had a great story line. Never really been a fan of the figures but this just made me want it as soon as i saw those proto pics!!!! I'm a huge zoids fan and grew up with zoids in the 80's in asia before the cool 3d cartoons so zoids will always hold a special place in my heart.

I love how stylized this guy looks and just a very modern looking bot overall.

 

This looks strangely Gundam-esque. I like it.

I'm not a Zoids fan at all (not that I hate it, I'm just not familiar with the brand) but I do find the sculpt and design of this figure hella impressive.

 

Looking forward to the pics of MP Convoy riding Leonidas like He-Man on Battle Cat.  

I like it, but it looks like a hybrid blend of Zoids, Gundam, Evangelion and Tekkaman Blade.

The bot proportions are kinda strange too, rather effeminate. And the lion hind legs are too thin, they look more like a hyena's than a lion.

 

It's an interesting design for sure. Very impressive looking in robot mode. The alt mode looks off and little lean, and unfortunately isn't the Liger-0 I wanted it to be. I'm not sure what he's supposed to go with because of his size and styling it looks more like he could fit with gundams than other transformers, let alone Perfect Effect's other stuff. There seems to be a lot more flaps and hinges that don't do anything in either mode, so there might be something more going on than these two modes.

Still if this thing isn't a huge cop out partsformer than I might pick it up as a stand alone. I'm assuming they'll go all out with paint on this one.
