It would be cool if it actually could play Sega Megadrive (Sega Genesis) games but as it is now it's all a bit meh.

 

That would actually be awesome! Sega has actually done stuff like this before with their Sega Blaze (putting games on a plug and play device/ making it flash card compatible. If they include a MegaDrive emulator witjh a couple of classic,games on it, that would be awesome.

If the USB drive doesn't have anything special on it, I could have done without it.

I kind of wish this was smaller so it would be in scale with Sentinel's upcoming Optimus Pen.

Perhaps he has something on the Flash drive like a game or something.

Considering you could buy a 2GB flash drive of 100 different designs of your choice for under $5.00 from China I charging a premium for it is just annoying. He's not even branded as "Device label".

I'm not sure what I feel about the 190mm height that makes him taller than both Blaster and Soundwave - but it also make him beig enough that the prices seems slightly less of a rip-off and he's also large enough for the carts to be made that can turn into things - even if Takara don't do it someone like KFC can.

I like him... I'll put him under "Maybe" for the time being.

 

Yeah it would be feasible to include as part of the license some sort of Sega Branded emulated game that you can pay on a PC or MAC computer when he's plugged into it.

Heck they could even reasonably cheaply apply a Transformers skin to an existing platformer.

The ironic game to include would have been something like Ranger-X (laugh)

 

it says megadrive..so I assume its licensed..Im assuming of course.

In that case there it would have been cool if they just worked in the guts for one of those solid state, plug n play games. have it come with a chinsy controller to plug in with a micro USB, and have an external battery pack worked into the fusion cannon...

Then have some micro to component or HDMI...

So what does the SEGA controller do for the figure? It looks like it splits in half, but I don't see it as part of the robot mode.

 

What does Kentucky Fried Chicken have to do with this?  

 

KFC is also Keith's Fantasy Club a 3rd party company, they just released a NOT Ultra Magnus figure and have released some cassette bots too, hence them being referred to for the cartridges. They are aware of KFC the fast food and, of course!

I did wonder the first few times that KFC was referred to, I thought that these were promos that were going to be run with the fast food joint, was really impressed that tie-in merchandize had come so far since my happy meal days, lol!

I do wonder how many people try to order a zinger burger with their Citizen Stack though
