Finally opened mine today and... wow. What an amazing kit. The face sculpt if perfect and the wings just rock. The shoes are way too tight and needed shaving down but other than that, the set is fantastic. Love the big old underpants

I really wanna get a Platinum Edition Evasion Mode Prime for this set, which will have the added benefit of giving me a spare face plated head to put on my retail Evasion Mode Prime.

 

Mine will be here tomorrow! I have so many version of evasion op I'm not even sure which I'm going to put it on.. The evolution two pack, the autobots United 5 pack, retail, and takara. Not to mention my exclusive rusty prime, And the breakout battle rusty prime. Lol

Only reason I would have to buy that chrome op n grimmy two pack. The chrome on op really looks good with this chrome piece too.

 

Actually that thought had passed my mind, I was thinking of doing something similar to what I did to a my little pony head in high school



And before anyone labels me as a MLP hater, this was before FiM and I found only a badly damaged head on the side of the road, so to be clear I don't hate MLP this is to illustrate what I might end up doing with that extra prime head.

 

Since I won't be using the gun (shotgun) he came with anymore anyway, I just sawed off the peg that fits into his hand and drilled a hole in the bottom. Now it just slides over the peg next to his head and makes a great shoulder launcher.

I had already cut off that peg, because I just got a DotM megatron last week , and that peg looks terrible when he's holding it

 

twin smokestacks for evasion optimus prime..

thanks to dx09 armor now my evasion prime got 2 smokestacks... looks like G1...so glad i got tis add on....very well worth it!

 

Did you drill holes to attach the smokestacks?
I suppose you wouldn't see them in bot mode if you are using the chest plate

Captured prey and bbts still have it. Cp is cheaper but not in stock yet. Bbts showed it in stock yesterday.

 

Mine will be waiting for me when I get home from work! Can't wait to mess with this set.


Also, to those who cut the handle off the op original gun, can you post a pic of just the gun from like a side view. I'm thinking of doing the same.
