I would gander that she's referring to a fiscal year and not a calendar year... fiscal year starts first of Feb.

I thought fiscal years were July 1 - June 30.

EDIT: After a quick search, apparently fiscal year designations vary from company to company, with September being the most common endpoint. Eeenteresting. (Sort of.)

That makes sense. Don't know why I didn't think of that.

That's one of the funniest things I've heard all day. I think Mars gets TFs before we do on the east coast. :lolol

Yeah...us East Coast folks are usually last. I'll have to wait until I hear about New York people finding them, then a few days later they show up here in SC.

    For Jarodimus...
If the UPC# is entered into a Telxon and is NOF (not on file), the stores computer then "talks" to the home office and trys to determine what the item is. If it is in the Home Office's computer, they will send back the information (this takes a couple of seconds) and give the associate the option of putting the item "on file" in the store, and assign it a temporary item number. In a day or so, the system will reassign the item it's correct number. Then it is possible to enter that number in the "Item Locator" screen to check the on-hand of other stores. The system cannot identify individual toys from assortments. If you wanted to check another store for Classics Cliffjumper, the system would bring back an on-hand count for every Classics Deluxe the store has, not just Cliffjumper. The same would happen for Ravage/Rumble. However, if you checked for davastator, the count would just be for Devastator, since he is the only toy in his shipping case. If you wanted to have someone try "Item Locator", I'd recommend either going in between 7am and 4 pm to find a department manager, or have a salaried manager check for you, and probably 90% of the associates either don't have the option assigned to them, or have no clue that it even exists.

Well, another area WalMart got the Alts tonight. I snagged a case of six. One set for me, one for my bro, and one for a Canadian collector.

I'd almost forgotten how cool these were; I sure hope Hasbro resumes this line after the movie.

    Hehe, thanks guys!

Yeah we saw about 5 or 6 boxes on a pallet, and my girlfriend told the guy we wanted to buy 5 of the six out of 1 box so we asked if he could open it, which he did. I planned on getting myself 1 each of Ravage and Rumble to open, and one of each to keep sealed. I was buying the 3rd Ravage for my girlfriend's brother, then we decided to buy the third Rumble for him too, so we just took that whole display up front :)

Now I want more of the displays for the rest of my boxed alts!

Who amongst the people that got the ravage and rumble actually got it off the shelf or a set endcap and those that just plummed it off of a pallet of toys the night crew works off from during the night and into the early morning?

My question is, why couldn't they do the casing and display for all the ALTs that were released.

This way is more eye catching and most likely would sell more product.
