    Ebay:
I figure with the USPS Priority Shipping @ $20-23, a buyer actually gets Elegy at $177 to 180. It's still about $30-50 more than I'd want to pay, but if I found that the features and quality were better than Acid Storm's- then it's worth it.

Why are they so expensive now? Supply and demand. Look at how the vintage G1 Fortmax price has plummeted since the release of the Encore version. I would imagine the same thing would happen if Takara ever released an official version of the MP Coneheads.

I have these and the plastic quality seems to me almost identical to hasbros. I would say if hasbro was 10 then the igear pp03 team is 9. Really like them, no retailers have them so that'd why the price is so high. What kind of a question is that? Hasbro said acid storm is 1 of 33 or 35 so not very sure we will get those since most of the numbers have been taken. Look magnus is mp22?

    pretty silly question.

these are the only coneheads available. they are long gone from retail. you are at the mercy of people who already own them. i have a set. do i want to sell them? no. most people wouldn't want to sell them. if you find someone willing to sell them consider yourself lucky.

and then, why should they sell them for anything less than what the market (read craziest person with disposable cash) is willing to pay.

if it bothers you to pay what they are worth, wait and takara might get around to hooking the fans up. maybe… someday. and they'll only be $180 retail for those if they ever show up...

I've always told myself if Takara ever made them, at this point, it'd probably be based off the MP-11 mold. If so, I'd buy a set and keep both iGear and Takara the same as I have the MP-03 and MP-11 molds of the original 3 (one that I had to paint into Skywarp).

Had these and sold them for a tidy profit. They didn't feel like no 9 out of 10. More like a 6. They were floppy and their wings didn't do them any favors accept for thrust.

If you are only going to get one, get Ramjet. He looks remarkable on my shelf & stands out brilliantly putting all the seekers to shame (color wise).

they are all great looking, but if only getting one id say go for thrust. his color is beautiful and the wings are really nice. dirge has great color too. the blue is a fantastic blue. ramjet is also spot on design wise, but since eye's mostly white he doesn't seem to pop as much for me as the other two.

they are all very delicate, especially where the wings attach to the leg.

They are amazing, and trust me - as someone who's made and handled tons of plastic toys in my day, they are of the finest quality. They're complicated figures with sharp edges so you can have issues if you're not careful, just like with MP-03.

They are easily some of the best 3rd party figures of all time - if you have Shockwave from FansToys you should absolutely have these. Igear made them with love.

Personally I switch Ramjet and Dirge's default weapons. Especially love Thrust's missile cannons. The plastic is sparkly pretty and the paint apps are great and make them pop. They look like models like the mold was intended to and they've turned plenty of heads on display.

Sold my complete set for about $610 on eBay about a year and a half ago. Was seriously just expecting my money back. Don't know how it inflated, but I'm not complaining.

Aren't the iGear Raptor Squadron a viable alternative to these?

Nah igears orginal coneheads were basically altered mp knock offs. Very mp scale and mp accurate hence many collectors still desiring them.

I wish I had been able to get the super duper rare g2 deco ramjet they did (love that purple n black n teal deco so much) but yeah pretty much impossible.

Their new jet figures are ok but not only are they just voyager sized they have some design issues; fat lower legs, tiny feet, skinny arms and awkward face molds. Not really a viable alternative to those awesome mp kos they did.

I picked up Ramjet when he was first released, but never managed to get the other two. I really wish I had now.

To be honest, 2015 Is what Takara said year of the Masterpiece Decepticons.
Outside of new molds expect the seekers as slight remold/repaints to come out.

I would rather wait till I know for sure what the 2015 releases will be.

What is the deal with the iGear G2 Ramjets? Was it a very limited production run? Were there only test shots done? I can't find any sign of any of these being on eBay recently at all! Does anyone know how many are out there? Does anyone here have the MP G2 Ramjet?
