As before, I like the look but I hate the price. There's no way to justify paying more than double what I payed for the original, and pulling the figure back out it really feels outdated. $70 I'd get it but not $200 (especially since Takara still hasn't bothered to make the stock and silencer; Why the heck do they love Optimus so much but they hate Megatron? In that Yuuki interview it literally seemed like MP5 made for the sole pupose of promoting mp4.)
Also for those still babbling about GPS, know your facts. GPS specifically applies to SWIRLY plastic. I have that micromaster Superion someone mentioned and had two tabs on the pants break off (thankfully nothing major) and it has swirly gold plastic. This is not swirly gold plastic (in fact as someone mentioned it's painted plastic). They don't USE that swirly gold plastic anymore (and they never should've; it's fugly looking. Just looking at Micron Convoy vs Armada Prime yellow worked so much better.)
Also I wonder if this thing'll still have cosmic rust; it's odd that MP5 was the only figure to got through that

 

Reminds me of Castor Troys gold guns in the movie Faceoff. Although those were modified Springfields.

 

Is it just me of does MP Megatron look awful especially when compared to MP-10 and onwards figures.

I do like the silver face & Optibotimus says he has slightly tighter joints; I guess that's an improvement. I still don't like the color- I wish he was chromed like G1. Well, maybe we'll get an all new MP10 scaled updated Megatron soon, hopefully...

No orange plug? How can I get one?

 

Common sense would suggest that you don't buy something you couldn't afford in the first place.

 

They should all be opened and have the orange plug inserted. I'm not entirely sure why mine didn't. But i did confirm with BBTS that theirs will be sent out with the orange cap

 

dude your review with that gold plastic with the swirl is deff looking to break over time, cant believe they would use that.

 

That's kinda hideous. Ever noticed how gold looks nice as an accent, but when you have a whole lot of it, it just looks gaudy and garish? This guy has surpassed that.

But, for those who like the mold, and like the gold, it's a nice treat.

 

It's mistransformed.

If you understand the history of the MP line , you'd understand. Different designers , time frames , as well as toy tech all come into play . It was always a floppy mess though.
