NO!!!!! I loved Bee in this movie even more than the first three. HE CAN'T DIE!!!!! I agree 100% with this.
He needs to, totally agree. In G1 we were all saddened by Prime's death. Every generation needs to feel the pain of the Transformers. Call it a pilgrimage.
I loved him in this movie in the previous films he was just a underdeveloped badass who spoke with a a radio/ This movie I actually liked him for once cause he had a personality to him so the radio thing didnt bother me as much if at all.
Exactly. He used it so well that he might as well have been speaking. And I like that! He's keeping that sort of uniqueness while still acting as a colourful character, just look at his scene with Stinger.
I am not a fan of Bayformers what so ever (except the part were bee gets really mad and does like donuts in the show room then punches stinger and when the tour group comes in he starts playing cant touch this and the part were he ripps of stingers head and feeds it to grimlock and says i hate cheap knockoffs) but that is it bee cant die honestly he is the only reason i still watch the bayformers and for him to die would be like haveing tintin die in the adventures of tintin comics. you just cant have a transformers movie without him he IS the character in my eyes (besides ratchet and jazz but noo bay just HAD to kill them diddent he)
Also, why does he "need" to die? Why can't he just...move onto other things? It happens all of the time in these movies, at least with human characters.
A kid was Playing with the Mega Bumblebee figure from the AoE kiddie line a few days ago at my work, pretending him and Bee were fighting deceptions, the kid hid under the table and shouted "MEGATRON IS COMING, QUICK BUMBLEBEE HIDE" Good luck killing that character off, Kids love him. Move over Hotshot xD
I got to actually give Bay props on AOE, Bumblebee wasn't much of a screen whore this time around. Hell, Hound got a lot of screen time, probably more than Bumblebee.
I thought the screentime was divided like this 1. Optimus 2. Lockdown 3. Bumblebee 4. Hound 5. Crosshairs 6. Drift 7. Galvatron 8. Grimlock 9. Brains 10. Tie between Ratchet and Stinger
Bumblebee's death would make good drama, more so than the way Ratchet went out, but it's likely Hasbro would never want to kill-off the kid-appeal character. I'm afraid Bumblebee is here to stay.
He is a secondary character! He's a Transformer. He's no more a main character than the BatMobile or the Terminator's Uzis.
At this point, Optimus and Bumblebee are the two figureheads of the film when it comes to the Autobots. As some have said, it'd be a very gutsy thing to kill him off. Like in DOTM - they almost got me with the Bee/Soundwave scene, but as many of us are aware of these days, not many films have the guts to kill off major characters.
Me and most of the people who were watching it literally screamed "NOOOOOOOOO"! at the screen, and when Bee killed soundwave there was cheering all around.
