MP-10B Black Nemesis prime was selling for $150+ in most of the mainstream stores and is sold out. Even the asia online stores like robotkingdom, HLJ, etc... no one has new retail stock of this figure.

Yet on ebay, the item is listed constantly in the $100-$115 range from sellers in Asia

Are these sellers really sitting on horded stock or is there KOs floating around of this figure?

MP-05 is similar.. you see tons of listing (mostly from the same China seller) advertising new in box and it's been out of retail channels for ages. Yet I don't see 'official' discussions calling out KOs for these two figures.

What's the consensus on these, especially MP-10B? Legit TT inventory, or KOs?

 

I don't know of any MP-10b KO's yet. Perhaps a link to the listings would help?

I know sub $120 isn't unrealistic in Asia prices on it's own when it was available, but with it being out of stock everywhere else.. it seems suspicious to see them selling for those prices still... while it seems none of the legit online sellers seem to have any inventory

 

Usually with the KOs the sellers flood the market with them and they are priced within pennies of each other.

 

^^ that and the cheaper ones are all from 3 sellers in Taiwan. While I cannot state with 100% certainty, if I didn't have one already and were looking to acquire him I'd personally be comfortable with ordering it as from my brief overview the sellers do not have a history of selling KO's.

Nothing new there.. pretty much like all overseas sellers.. including the legit online sellers. Even with shipping $140 shipped is still way cheaper than 'No Longer Available' pricing on Ebay and is cheaper than the US resellers were selling it. Prices just looked too good to be true. But looking through everything else those sellers sell.. they sell at normal to high prices. Just really weird unless no one wants 10b

and this version of this mold is awesome, why is it not selling?
mp10b is my fav, but i do notice that most stores still stock him so he may not have been a grand slam, or everyone is not a nemesis nut like me.
also, is he the only version without a trailer?

 

I'm thinking about buying a 10B as well and have been wondering where the best place would be to procure one.

 

They are both legit. Just remember MP-5 was reissued in 2010.

i bought mine a few months back on ebay for like 130$ shipped and it's the real deal. a little red paint on the eyes and it's perfect!

I hate to say it, but after what it took for me to get the coneheads from I gear...that is my main driving force for figs. If I have even a hint of appreciation/likeness for it then I just get it without thinking about it before it only goes up in price. It may hurt initially, but the long haul is what matters, or at least that is what I keep telling myself...
