I have a question, I'm having a garage sale next week. I'm selling lots of toys to raise money for future Transformers toys, but I want to make more money. I have a metal case filled with Yugioh cards I was going to save for years until they grow in value but some of the cards I see don't got for huge amount of money, so I sell some or all for my Garage sale? I'm already thinking about a deal. Buy a certain amount and get an Obelisk the Tormentor free.
Here's my advice to you: 1: Buy a binder and 2 packs of pages for your cards. 2: Go through ALL the cards in that case because there might be some good cards in there. 3: Find an online price guide and if you did find any good or holo cards, you can place them in the binder and mark them for the prices they are, then the rest of the cards you can sell at 25-50 cents each. Try it this way. I guarantee you'll make more money.
I'll be selling shiny rare ones only. I was almost thinking of 2 for $5 or buy 4 and get an Obelisk free.
If youve been holding onto them for ages, then they're probably not worth much due to not being used anymore. However, luckily for you, the current meta has asked for some of the old cards back due to Shaddolls and Satellarknights (and to some extent, HAT and Geargia). So the old cards that come to mind as being valuable nowadays would be: Mirror Force (this is nearly always worth something) Nobleman of Crossout (thanks a lot Geargia and Shaddolls.... ) Skill Drain (stupid Dark World players always using this) Gozen Match/Rivalry of Warlords Macro Cosmos/Dimensional Fissure (not worth much, but at least sought after) Bottomless Trap Hole (always a good card...) Torrential Tribute (staple, always has been always will be) Mystical Space Typhoon (see Torrential) Royal Decree (an annoying card, but it's still used thanks to Lightsworn) Light/Shadow-Imprisoning Mirror (these two are very good for side deck) Dark Hole (obviously....it destroys everything...) That's all that comes to mind, but I doubt it's even close to being a complete list. Definitely search online (TrollandToad.com usually works, though some say it's a bit low on its prices). Obelisk sadly isn't worth much (you can't use it in a duel, only the newer version can be), as far as I'm aware... Far as I'm concerned, 2 for $5 sounds unrealistic (though at a garage sale anything goes...). Many of the cards above wouldn't sell at $5 for 2 of them... [/2 cents]
So I decided to break away from Yu-Gi-Oh! for the time being (too much money, not enough free time), but those new tins are almost enough to make me get right back in.
Yeah. I actually like the artwork of the new Shaddolls and Burning Abyss cards, but then I keep thinking back to all of the money I spent on a Ghosttrick deck earlier this year, and that deck is utterly useless now.
Gotta say I agree. Can't really afford to spend lots of money on new cards that may or may not be worth anything in a few months' time. To be fair, that's why I'm glad I picked up most of a Hand Traptrix deck on the cheap. I know it's gonna last a while, unlike, y'know, pretty much every archetype. It does help to stay up to date with the rumours, though. Like, I'd rather invest in Yang Zing or maybe Satellars instead of Shaddolls because rumours of new Yang Zing support in coming sets past NECH mean the deck should become good, and Satellars can look forward to Triveil. Meanwhile, Shaddolls get Shehkinaga and Egrystal, neither of which are truly integral to the deck at all (at least, not to the same extent Midrash is). Also, all the Shaddoll name changes suck. Winda? Construct? Sinister Shadow Games? Squamata? Falco? Really Konami? REALLY??? Okay, maybe Shaddoll Core can get a pass, that wasn't too horrible... Now if only Artifact Sanctum would stop being stupidly expensive and get reprinted already...
I just want Spellbook Tower to get reprinted. It's the only thing in that deck that is still over $10.
Since Shooting Quasar Dragon is one of the promos included in the upcoming 5D's Legendary Collection, the only card I'm still waiting to get reprinted is the Slifer the Sky Dragon with the Kazuki Takahashi artwork.
Um, well I went to my first regional last month. Broke even but it was fun. Other than messing around with the DDD archetype a while back, I've been taking the format off. I'm planning on getting the 5Ds collection, but really I'm waiting for the Hero structure deck. That Shadow Mist and Dark Law. How's everyone else been doing?
I'm trying to build a Shaddoll/Bujin hybrid deck IRL right now. I've been playing it on DevPro a whole lot and it's really fun. I might try building Qliphorts as well, but the deck is a bit too linear for my tastes. The Tribe Force Archetypes have been fun as hell to play around with on DevPro, too. (Spirit Beast, Necloth and Hermit Youkai).
last time i bought something related to Yu-Gi-Oh! was back in 2012. well i'm back in and continuing of my original plan of getting all the structure and starter deck. i checked to see what has happened since 2012. got a lot of stuff to get. i started with War of the Giants booster box with 36 packs. as i opened each packs i found a lot of cards i like, for example: Ultimate Tyranno. i knew that an Egyptian God card would be in the box. i opened the last pack and there it was: Slifer the Sky Dragon. my trio was completed. i also got the 3 beast cards from yugioh GX and the three Wicked cards. i just ordered the Storm of Ragnarok booster box. i want the Thor, Loki and Odin cards.
am i right when i say that Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL World Duel Carnival is only available to buy through the 3DS eshop, right?
Well, I think my interest in the game has finally come to an end. I haven't bought a pack since the first Arc-V boosters and all of my cards are on a shelf collecting dust. I think I might just sell off everything I own.
damn it. oh well. i'll get it as soon as i can add money to my account. i know it is sad when somebody loses interest on something they enjoyed for a long time. hit happens to a lot of people. if you are really serious of selling off your Yu-Gi-Oh! cards, i would like to buy some.
