Yeah, those are definitely a bit oversized. The regular version all combined is a little shorter than Classics Jazz.

Excellent. I was definitely considering this and now I'm sold.

I wonder how derpy it would look to mod the combining gimmick with the Voyager-size Rumble Thunder (or preferably the Voyager-size Flamy-Blade)…? I just can't rationalise that Leader-size car.

    Hi guys,

I've got no knowledge or experience when it comes to KOs, however recently I've been getting into issues with some of my original Hasbro/Takara MPs, with breakages, and that's even with very cautious handling. To avoid further disappointment, I am thinking of investing in some KOs.

Can anyone recommend any 'trusted' KO sellers on Ebay or anywhere else that I may purchase some from?

    Cheers!

So far the line of MP KO figures has been excellent. Almost as good as the real thing, but cheaper of course. Unfortunately, the widely available ones are just the cassette packs and the Autobot cars.

Paul at Sirtoys has been stocking all the KO MP stuff. He's a Canadian (?) in China, so you won't have any language issues. He's a good guy with good prices, and he's a regular contributor here in this thread. Sirtoys.com is easy to navigate... I've ordered there several times.

You can also occasionally find the KO cars and tapes on ebay for a couple of dollars cheaper even, but that's just random sellers, and your mileage may vary. I've gone that route before, no issues, but I don't think I've bought from any one seller more than once.

There's also Tony at chimungmung.com, based out of Hong Kong. The service is reliable and very fast, but in recent years he's drastically reduced the amount of KO stock in his store. He mostly just sells Takara and 3rd party figures now. Still, his prices are some of the best online for that kind of thing, especially if you're outside of the US shipping sphere.

Thank you very much! I'm a bit weary about buying KOs on Ebay, the fact that I can clearly see it's a KO, but some of the sellers are listing them as official products is something that concerns me..But thanks for the Website details! Much appreciated!

TF-Direct also sells KO MP's. Decent prices and very good communication.

Yeah, it bothers me too that some sellers seem to be trying to pass off the figures as authentic (though they may also have issues if they advertise the items as KOs). I've never had any problems with the MP KOs... it seems like they are all from the same source, with the same quality, so whoever you buy from, you should be getting the same thing. $35-$40 USD seems to be about the going price for the MP cars. Most Hong Kong sellers tend to ship pretty quickly too. It's never a fuss.

The only difference I've noticed is that with some sellers, you get KO versions of the Amazon.jp upgrade accessories (missile launchers, alternate piledrivers, etc) included, while others you don't. Sirtoys gives you the additional accessories with their MP KOs, for example.

I got KO's of the lambos and they are great. I have them displayed with legit MPs and most people would not be able to tell the difference between them. Only quality issue I had was with the peg and the torso pieces. Had to get an x-acto knife and widen the peg-hole so that the peg could go there.

I got my MP Silverstreak on Ebay and this weekend I'll have the G2 Sideswipe to evaluate it but based on that Silverstreak I have no doubts at all.

Since I'm posting, there hasn't been a KO G3 trailer, has there?
