You know, Maketoys stuff is too small for me, but Ripper is a fantastic little figure.

woot. just won a Henkei Astrotrain for £13 delivered...and the best thing is the normal version is going for around £20...so I can sell my Hasbro version and get my money back.

Does anyone want a Classics Astrotrain? Complete with gun and instructions?

I WAS looking for the same thing a while back, but when an under £30 combiner suddenly became £50+ It became a low priority.

That megs is looking like it will be about a ton going by some already showing preorders. I'm happy to pay up to £120 providing it's not made of rubber and displays well lol.

That scourge is apparently eye to eye to Mp11

So far I'm liking XTB Megs, Scourge, KFC junkions, Blaster and most likley MMC Mirage

It was netpricedirect on ebay I saw him the cheapest, sadly though the only TF they have on offer is the Op vs Megs constructbot pack at the mo. You might be able to get a £30-ish one if you settle for in box but not MIB and the god of auctions is on your side?

Not in the plan at the minute, I'm kinda running with the whole classics updated take on the character idea. Going to paint and assemble him first and then take a view on if anything else needs changing.

Ran across a snag already though in that the rubberized piece that formed the roof of the mouth and whiskers didn't become form-able in hot water and instead shriveled. I can salvage it however by cutting the details from it I want and gluing those parts back on.

Thank you Craftsmith, Aston Villa and Red Leader :)

    Hi tikgnat.
I would guess that I've painted roughly 25 MP Acid Storms. And only kept one so far, Hotlink.
Maybe half have been sent to me for commission work, the rest I bought.
I do like the mold :)
Although, it's not all glamour. They take me about 30-35 hours work. For what I charge works out around £3 per hour! Although, this line of work is per figure not hours put in.
It's all good. I'm very lucky to have had the opportunity to paint so many and absolutely love what I do.

Wow, 25 acid storms and a partridge in a pear tree.
How much did you pay for the ones you bought, not top dollar I hope.

I remember one Acid Storm I paid £75 for. Spent 35 hours painting it, and sold it for £125 to a mate. That wasn't exactly great profit :)

I do think the current Black Death is my favourite one. It's got an extremely smooth, soft paint job.

    Haha :)
A few chaps at my local TRU know me quite well now!

Yip, I can't wait to start weatching the next one which is a good sign. Funny thing is, I thought people on here would have enabled people on how good it is...............

TBH, the only reason I'm watching it as everyone talks so highly about it.

Thought I'd be put off by the non-Cullen Prime but it hasn't bothered me, loving Starscream too. Only thing getting my goat is Sari.

    Onwards and upwards I suppose!

Wow, very impressive, love the colours.

All the 3rd party releases have me confused on what I should do. Think I'll wait to see how good they are and then pounce on any if I can. Spent enough on TF's this year and plenty more to come the start of next.

    Right, back to animated!

Actually maybe the whole TF community owes you, Acidstorm looked like being a real deal shelf warmer, you stopped that happening giving TRU the impression that MPs have value and are worth stocking in the UK. So rather than no more MPs after Acidstorm, thanks to you we can now look forward to future releases on these shores.

Finally opened my Silver Knight Optimus Prime set.

Man the prime is shit. If anybody wants to come collect it they can certainly have it.

The Grimlock is better but one of the shoulder ratchets is mega tough.

Speaking of which is there anyway to tighten the sorta joints that is a circle and it slides into a slot joint? if that makes any sense
