wow yeah those are the first good pics I have seen. Lookin' good. I wasn't super sold based on the con pics.

 

Looks pretty great and if Astrotrain's appearance in Angry Birds does not encourage a official Voyager Astrotrain I am all over this one. Atleast we can expect it to be solid if TW Orion is any indication this guy will be a brick (in a good way). I just hope his transformation does not have any gut wrenching twists and turns like Orion did (still a great figure though).

 

So, he's supposed to be about 8.85 in. in height. An MP seeker is about 9.84 in.. My interest has been restored with this piece of info. Seems like his height is close to G1.

But, my question is if what we have seen is a headsculpt with a removable visor (since he had two eyes in the cartoon), will he be gray and purple, and can the shuttle tail fold in?

 

$120.00...............  o well I guess I can just   over everyone elses pics.

If the size estimates are correct then he should be close to this height with Hegemon + boots.

grey or white, i'd prefer grey. but white isn't bad. but i would like purple wings. the white really messes with the train mode, purple or grey wings would fix that.
I Love the train mode, it's perfect. (except the white panels)
and the shuttle looks better than G1, it looks like a shuttle!
the bot mode looks ok. i like the chest wing, feels right to me. I know it's not G1 but i like it, and there are enough version like that, that it works for me. head is not really on the mark though, unless the visor is removable.

overall i like this more than DX9s. DX9 has the color right but got the alt modes wrong for me.

Thanks for posting these daim. I couldn't find your updated pics to quote so just embedded them again. At 8 3/4 inch height, this might be a great stand in to crown my MP-11. Looking forward to the final colors. Gotta see an in hand review before I commit.

Ouch, that's more than I'd hoped, and this is an overseas site. I can just imagine what a U.S site will charge for him.

 

So the Toyworld is 22.5cm tall (MP Soundwave size), and the DX9 is 24cm tall (MP10 Optimus size)... both Leader size roughly.

The Hasbro one is a Deluxe.

Can't someone make something in-between?

oh, so this is 8.85", which is taller than MP Seekers and Grimlock... damn, was hoping for voyagerish size. Well, I like the alt modes, and bot too, just not sure about colors yet and the quality / value yet. Will wait and see final colored pics and reviews on this one, and the DX9 one, and wait for a potential future Takara or FT version.
