    Custom Unicron
    Samurai Shodown Headmaster
    by Lou B. (aka " char_leigh ")

I recently came across an old, used Transformers Armada Unicron toy. The toy was missing most of its pieces. Thankfully, it wasn't broken and was still functional. I decided to bring the toy back to life with various Construct-Bots pieces. I also used the empty chest cavity and wired it with LED lights, complete with a custom toggle switch located in the back.

But the real highlight was making Unicron an actual Headmaster-like Transformer, utilizing an imported Transformers Prime Gaia Unicron toy as Unicron's new head. I remember seeing an old review of Gaia Unicron, and the reviewer mentioned how some owners would just place Gaia Unicron in "volcano mode" on top of Armada Unicron's upper torso, acting as a new head. This was a cool idea, but there was no real way to actually attach Gaia Unicron to Armada Unicron. I solved this dilemma by using modded Construct-Bots pieces. This allowed Gaia Unicron to actually plug into Armada Unicron -- making the combined toy almost Headmaster-like.

Since the new head looked like a Samurai, I went with a video game theme, based on the classic SNK arcade fighting game "Samurai Shodown." I made the weapons from Junkion Blacksmith's Infinity Warfare set and Construct-Bots pieces.

Thanks for checking this out. I hope you like it. ~Lou

That's pretty neat. Combined mode looks supprisingly proportional.

I almost did something like this but decided the TFP Unicron would make too big a head with too much junk hanging off of it. This shows me that was true, but you still managed to make it pretty cool.
