DLX Generations Skids

Has anyone picked up Generations Skids from online or the rerelease of W1 14? Curious to know whether the new version of Skids has the leg fix in place or whether it's the same exact toy as released early this year.

On a side note, I'm not sure if it's isolated on just the one I saw, but the current Dreadwing is holding the gun in his left hand, while the original wave when it came out has Dreadwing holding the gun in his right hand. Just a in package variation I guess depending on the manufacture date.

 

I ordered Skids off HTS, was the problem around the hip joints? If the problem leaves the hips unable to move or with limited range of motion, then Hasbro may have fixed it. Mine has proper range of motion at the hip.

Yeah, from what I saw it looked like you had to swap the hip joints or the range of motion would be limited to only backwards. After the fix, the legs would still stop when vertical, but they could move forward like he was kicking. The fix also helps with the balance of the figure when standing up.

Does yours stop when the legs are vertical? Or does it have a full range of motion where the legs can move forwards AND backwards?

 

You don't even need to check articulation. The hip joints are marked, so the left one has an L on it, and the right one has an R. I got my Skids from HTS last week and it came out of the package with the hips correctly assembled.

A lot going on at the TRU at The Plant in San Jose as of 1PM today. Seven Jetfires on the shelf, a couple of Jhiaxus, a Nightbeat, tons of the Rattrap wave, a lot of the Duo Evolution, Whirl voyagers, Rhinox voyagers, and a Blitzwing.

Non TF: Nick TMNT Newtralizer, Tiger Claw, their respective waves, 80's Turtles, and Nick Comic figures. A lot of Marvel and Star Wars Black Series in a reconfigured aisle.

 

a lot of voyager slogs and leader jetfires at elk grove tru. Also found the comic appearance ninja turtles figures. Picked up Leo and Raph, super disappointed in the articulation.

Also, behind the counter, a MP Prowl, Sunstorm, Legacy Dragonzord, and Legacy White Morpher. But looks like they are being held. they have been there for a while though.
