So we have more names thanks to KRE-O:

    Hammerstrike is the shark
Fracture, Airazor and Divebomb are the purple trio, the latter two I assume are going to be Minicons in the show
"Ped" who is a black Kreon that comes with the Underbite set
Clampdown and Bisk, one of which is the lobster we saw (hehe lobster bisque)
Springload, the green Kreon that comes with the Strongarm set

I hope all these Decepticons aren't just monsterous looking. I'd like some humanoid looking ones too.

steeljaw is humanoid for the most part, even if he has a sort of werewolf motif (which i like because I've always loved werewolfs)

also, anybody know if there will be any bat themed decepticons, because i love bats (and im also a batman fanboy, i mean, just look at my profile picture :)  )

    Mindwipe could be a possibility.

I know what you meant but I'd like a new Decepticon that isn't beast looking.

Steeljaw looks like the big baddie of Season 1 so far considering the amount of figures he has already

Well... I just know I like the new designs. Um... the fact that they all resemble animals is interesting and I wonder why they're not just called Predacons. Anyway, good designs overall.

My thought was darn I hope these get a deluxe sized toy release. Might be kind of fun to get a toy line with more Decepticons than Autobots.

Could these be more of those experiments by shockwave? Perhaps like the ones in the Dinobot comic?
I am not liking these "Decepticons". Too animal like.

So is Mega Man X going to join Bumblebee on the Maverick Hunting?

Just Kidding. I'm liking the designs a bunch.

But seriously if Storm Eagle shows up that will be sweet.

I actually saw the design for Bisk (The lobster robot) on TFWiki the other day and was thinking... WTF?

I don't really care if they have vehicle modes, beast modes, or both but what really bothers me is they don't seem to have ROBOT MODES. Like the beast modes are their robot modes. Some of them have humanoid beast modes like this lobster guy but I would rather see a robot that transforms into a lobster than a lobster robot. I could look past this a little better if there were any actual Decepticons in this series but there aren't. It looks like they're all screwed up beasts.

Even in G1 I hated these types of characters. Sky-lynx, Trypticon, any of the beast cassettes. They don't have robot modes. You can call their beast modes robot mode but they aren't, they're alt modes. Robot modes transform into beast modes, they're clearly different things. When it goes from a beast mode to a vehicle mode it's just going from one alt mode to another alt mode. There's no robot/main/humanoid form. And this is even weirder because they're technically both beasts and humanoid at the same time.

Hasbro is taking a huge risk with this series already. Being the first series ever where Optimus Prime and Megatron are gone. Optimus appears as a ghost but he's not the leader Bumblebee is. And Optimus' design seems to reuse his Beast Hunters design so there is no new Optimus Prime for this series. They've done this in the comics before but it's never been done in the cartoons. The closest they've come is no Optimus in season 3 of G1 and people HATED Rodimus. They ended up having to bring Optimus Back and then the series still got canceled.

And now I find out they're making a even BIGGER risk with this series. It seems that Bumblebee is the only returning character from Prime even though there are several other survivors they could of included with the cast. There were also surviving Decepticons from Prime they could of included with this series. Both of which would make for much better stories than Bumblebee's team of dog catchers. They're not even Autobots and Decepticons anymore, it's looks like they're animal control. They might as well of followed around an animal control team and they'd basically have the same story. I can't see this turning out well.

I actually can think of one other series very similar to this. Rescue Bots... which is a surprisingly good series but as a pre-school cartoon. If I were to compare it to a normal Transformers cartoon, which I wouldn't under normal circumstances but I'm making an exception to make a point, it would suck. I could maybe see this new RID series working as a Pre-School show for kids under the age of Four but as a main series, what the hell where they thinking? And even as a Pre-school series it may not live up to Rescue Bots, it could go the way of this series: Go-Bots (cartoon) - Transformers Wiki

It's just really hard to take the Decepticons seriously with no Megatron and none of them having actual robot modes. This makes me think they're not going to be an actual threat as in being intelligent robots who just happen to have beast modes like the Predacons but rather are just dumb wild animals from Cybertron that got loose on Earth.

headmasters, masterforce, victory, beast wars two and beast wars neo had no optimus and megatron, and they turned out fine. Also, hqve you seen the sneak peak clips? Bisk was clearly shown speaking english. I also have no idea how this even remotely resembles a pre school show
