It makes me feel better, my wallet couldn't care less though. Didn't mean to imply you were. I know the price is outrageous in comparison to products in the same type of category, just not an "accessory" person. Just sometimes your products are so good it breaks through my resistance.

Got the prototypes today, they look really good in person and ATP did an amazing job on the design and details.

They still need some work and refinement, but overall not too much longer now before they go off for mass production. More pics to come.

I like these launchers, but is that other piece really necessary? It looks ok for the vehicle mode, but in robot mode, it looks pretty silly IMO

I think they look nice, but I agree $40 sounds pretty expensive, especially when a lot of people only paid $55-70 for Wheeljack himself.

If I remember right, G1 Wheeljacks launchers clip onto metal pins, so no.

I don't know where you get your info from, but casting resin is a real plastic... So I don't know what else to say.

It is a freebie with the set, and is 100% optional if you chose to use it or not.

The price has already been discussed folks, not much can be done about it since they are hand made, limited sets. I truly wish we could offer it at half the price, but until we find a mass producer, we are limited to how many we can make and produce.

I was wondering whether the missiles were removable or is it one solid piece?

I'm assuming you are talking about the "wing" piece. You don't have to leave it on for bot mode, but it is included so that you can mount all 3 cannons in vehicle mode instead of just one as the figure is designed without extras considered. You can also mount spare cannons on his back if you want like he is carrying them as extra supplies in case of emergency or some such.

Is anybody going to make a G1 toy/ box art accurate head for this guy? I hate the toon head. The original toy & box art is what made me fall in love with Wheeljack.

I never had the G1 toy, and can't find a close up pic. What is different? From a normal pic I can't see one.

    Sorry about the thread necromancy.

Here you go. G1 on the left, MP on the right. The G1 used the striped bands as a visor, much like Snake Eyes from GI Joe. The toon (and subsequent toys) treated the toy visor more like a mouth plate, adding eyes above it and greatly reducing the chin below. Personally, I much prefer the G1 toy styling with the visor instead of the mouth plate. I'd certainly drop a few bucks for a new toy-centric face for this to go with the toy-inspired missile launchers. How about it, Guild of Concoctionous Intent - you guys working on a face, too? Seems like you have at least two interested buyers. :)

Hey, while you're making new launchers, how about some for MP Smokescreen? I get that the stock launchers are accurate to the toon, but I kinda hate that he doesn't look like Prowl or Bluestreak with launchers. Just a thought. There may not be a market for them.

Depending on how many cannons we move, we might be able to do some other stuff you listed.
