Battlechangers are now on sale in Singapore.

 

My TRU doesn't have any Microchangers or a section for them as of now. The only figure packs are the Custom Kreons (Glavatron, Hound, and Crosshairs).

 

I picked up the Scorn and Slug Kre-o sets...mainly because I wanted the Drift and Crosshairs figures (and they were on sale). I also wanted to see if I could kitbash the dinobots into robot modes, since I made all of those kre-o AoE-style helmets for them.

But...I was a bit disappointment to find out that the two dinobots use a single, pre-molded bodies. I realized the heads were obviously molded as one piece, but the bodies can't be broken down. Building the dinos is basically just a matter of assembling the limbs, and then popping them on to the torsos. Meh. Not very kitbashable.

The kreons are still pretty cool though!

They're old (Prime & BB) I got them a both a few years ago.

The new Kre-O Battlechangers are out in Singapore btw.

 

How much are they selling for? I hope those get released in the US soon.

 

SGD $19.90, same price as microchanger combiners. So if you take away the mark up I believe it will be around USD$9?

 

There is a Toys-r-us not far from me that stil has megs, screamer, and iron hide customs as of a week ago, but due to lack of time and some personal distractions, wasn't able to get them while they were not only on clearance, but on that 40percent sale as well.  
Also, does anyone on the board collect the GI JOE Kreons? I found un-opened baggies of the original snake-eyes and storm shadow from the temple battle set. (bought two to get extra red ninjas). I also have a un-opened inner baggie of zarana.

I started collecting these based on a single character but I really like them. It's prompted an interest in possibly collecting these little guys. Only have 1 base so I had to improvise. Here's what I have:





Bought multiples because I plan to repaint them at some point. If anyone has any tips, please share because I'm new to customizing.

 

The 84 cliff jumper is so cool, its such a shame they don't use the short legs for him and other mini bots.

 

Beefed up Jetfire a bit. Haven't done the alt mode yet.
