BBTS just updated me regarding my replacement Kronos parts. I should have them by Friday.  

 

Good to know I might be able to get replacement parts for when mine finally arrive.

 

So... which parts typically need replacing? I took mine out of the box, and put in on my shelf. I didn't notice any issues.

 

Anyone know if someone's making an ALT head for Kronos, G1 toy style

 

I don't think there even was a G1 Skyfire toy.

 

I'm sure he's talking about the Jetfire toy that was just a robotech veritech. I'd like one too, but I'd probably leave Kronos's own head on there most of the time.

 

Would a helmet work like Henkei Jetfire's? I don't have Kronos so I don't know how it would do with his head.

It should give you an idea of what most of the issues are. There's also paint application issues/color mismatches on some. My face had a scratch and a lot of blue bleeding so I replaced that as well.

Hmm. His back seemed a little funky, but I thought that was just the design. Maybe I should find me a pic of a proper back and see if it's supposed to be like that or not. I don't remember seeing any pics with the backpack off online.

 

You are correct sir, I was speaking about Jetfire..... And yes, I would like a Jetfire Style helmet, that would be freaking epic!!!

 

Most of my parts to repair my Kronos figures have arrived from BBTS. Still waiting on one hand, however before I did any repairs, I had a little fun with this.

Might get him but after seeing Optibotimus's review it has me quite cautious of the figure. I got leader Jetfire yesterday but do want a toy accurate scale for my masterpiece. I know i heard FT is making their version but something about the design of this one interests me.

the new ankles (which ed should still have) will not break like they did in Optibotimus's video

It's a different plastic, yes, but it's far from "shampoo bottle plastic".
It's made of a lighter plastic so it doesn't make him back-heavy.

 

Yes, I know - I am sloooooow, but I have updated the gun model and I have a few things left to do to make it complete. So I am throwing this out there. Any ideas on what you would like to see the gun clip attach to? I was thinking of a pressure fit clip that would hold both guns together in alt mode but haven't really found a good place to attach on the alt mode or store it away in Bot mode. Any ideas?
