My favourite moment has definitely got to be the scene from the first movie, where the Autobots arrive on Earth in the most dramatic way possible. It was such an awe-filled scene, having see the Transformers I grew up with and loved so much come towards me on the big screen, transform into their bot forms and introduce themselves. Yes, I did cry tears of joy during that scene, it was just so well done and truly moved me.

It's hard for me to pick the best moment, but it's definitely something from the first movie.

The scene when Sam runs away from Barricade is just awesome. Without even transforming into a menacing robot Barricade just is so intimidating! This still has to be my favorite scene from all the movies!

My most favorite scene was definitely in Age of Extinction when Sam and Cade had their heart-to-heart regarding Prime losing faith in humanity. It not only brought the light I wanted to see in Optimus through out the entire film ( I mean, the film had already established that Optimus truly wasn't perfect, something I can relate to on a more profound level than it sounds), but it reminded me of my own personal anxieties, and despite how messed up the world is, I just gotta "find the treasure in all the junk". It made me see myself in Optimus, and that alone makes my day whenever I think about it.
There was so much heart in that scene, it just stood out from the rest of the film (I mean, the film already had so much greatness going for it, it was definitely the best in the franchise.

My favorite scene was when the Constructicons first appeared in Revenge of the Fallen. Seeing those construction vehicles appearing was already amazing especially seeing they bare the Decepticons Insignia. But as soon as they started moving and merging together, the whole scene was so epic, though not exactly like how I remembered them in G1...

Well.....if I had to pick ONE, it would probably be that scene where the Autobots were trying (and failing) to remain unseen at Sam's house while he looked for "The Glasses" in the first one. Now THAT was comedy gold! (Unlike everything in ROTF....)

My favorite moment would have to be the initial reveal to Sam in the 1st movie with the transformation of Optimus Prime...

It goes without saying that Sam's mom is the best part of the franchise, but we may not all agree on our favorite of her scenes. I have to say that for me, it's gotta be her entire reaction to the house being ruined at the beginning of ROTF. Hi Mikaela! I have a bald spot!

Watching the first movie when Optimus comes down the alley, Transforms in a very dramatic way showing all the little bits and pieces fitting in place, then looks down and you hear him speaking... in the same voice of the cartoon, but bigger.... When I saw that scene at the theater I instantly was 8 years old again.

I think one of my favorite scenes in the live action film series comes from "Revenge of the Fallen." When Optimus was air dropped over Shanghai to pursue the fleeing Decepticon, that was and still is a stunning visual to me.

mine was prime's voice over at the start of the 2007 movie... that movie really brought me back to transformers after not paying attention since my childhood and hearing his voice booming through the speakers in the theatre gave me bigger chills than when I saw the '86 movie in the theatres as a boy!!!

My favorite moments in adaptations of existing works is when it shows me something new, but something new that tonally fits with both the tone established in the adaptation (e.g., the movie) and with the source material.

This moment is when Optimus Prime kills Bonecrusher in the first movie. First, it was one of the few scenes in that movie where only Transformers interacted with each other. Also, it clearly established the tone of this version of Prime. Prime's previous scenes showed him as the wise mentor, capable leader, etc, that we all remember him as. However, (and I feel that many G1 fans don't necessary see it my way), it shows us a more realistic portrayal of how G1 Prime was supposed to be.

Let me explain. Prime was kind of a softie in the G1 cartoon, but that was mostly because you simply can't show Prime wreaking carnage and decapitating Decepticons (TO DEATH) in a kids' show. It's the same thing with GI Joe. Adults are supposed to watch GI Joe and Transformers and fill in the blanks: the Joes, the Autobots, and the Decepticons are engaged in a large-scale war, there's a lot of implied killing, but we just aren't privy to seeing it. We do see it in Transformers: The Movie (1986), and it was glorious. Autobots and Decepticons killed each other. Prime killed Decepticons. It was a "Hell yeah!" moment where I knew we would be seeing a less-censored version of events than what we're used to.

Thus, when Prime brutally killed Bonecrusher without talking to him, I thought it set the tone beautifully. As in, we had 3/4 of a movie to see how Prime interacts with others when he's not engaged in combat (which isn't too different than G1 Prime), but we also see that THIS is how Prime deals with his enemies. As he should. Since it's war. And it offered us something new: I don't think we've ever seen two Transformers fight to the death in such a brutal, realistic way. If there were fights to the death, they were huge events, like Dinobot's (very effective) death in Beast Wars. When Prime and Bonecrusher fought, it's like 2 soldiers coming across each other on a battlefield. It's not supposed to be an epic showdown of the ages, but rather, they both have a job to do. Prime was getting in Bonecrusher's way. Bonecrusher was getting in Prime's way. Simple as that.

...PLEASE let me win! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE!

My favorite moment in the Transformer movieverse was in the 2007 film. I was never a fan, but after seeing all of the Autobots together and transforming along with the Autobots score it was a fantastic moment for myself! True fan from then on!

I have two from the 2007 movie:

    1. Opening scene with Blackout. Such a great audio experience with the bullets whizzing by and that first "transformation" sound.

    2. The Ironhide flip near the end of the 2007 movie. Awesome bass extension there and I love it when he's lighting up Brawl.

I've played both of these scenes more times than I can count.

My favorite scene is from the first movie, when Bumblebee lubricates on Agent Simmons. That was definitely the first hint that these movies were going to appeal to the childish toilet humor we, as adults, aren't supposed to be amused by anymore :)

I would have to say everything about them is my favorite, which excites and thrills me to the point of shear bewilderment. I can watch them every time over and over again and it brings a extremely huge smile to my face. No matter which movie it is they excite me as it was the first time I saw them. I guess that's why I have loved Transformers for 30 years!!! The movies just made the toys I love, into a whole new plausible reality!!!

I loved the scene in ROTF when the autobots were on Devastator's arm, trying to get off of him, it showed a nice scale shot

"he is going to die"- Optimus Prime.
This is a huge leap forward (or backwards) for this iconic hero in the long franchise.
Glad to see we are stepping into newer, if darker, territories. It simply makes these
beloved characters more human than they have ever been (respectively).

My favorite scene would have to be when Optimus Prime transformed in Mission City. I loved how the camera followed the transformation and all the little details that we got to see.
