This thread and its theory if it holds water....is going to make us all look massively stupid for our transformers disappointment outbursts lol!!! I believe Russian fan has spotted one of the 'things you will see but will not be explained' as quoted by mr Bay himself. Also just a thought aren't lockdowns cronies biological???....they must be a huge species of humanoid!!???

then suddenly plot twist!!, the creators are none other than the Gobings of Gobotron, who functions like apostles to both Primus & Unicron, who failed to keep watch of the Allspark & the Seeds experiment on the newly born Cybertron & the original 13 Primes, the Quintessons are equivalent to fallen angels or Nephillim, tweaking the Cybertronian's evolution & treating them like manufactured products :lol

Coincidence only. We all know it's the Quintessons.

Still, makes for some interesting plot points, making the first Transformers look like Robotic versions of themselves.

Nice theory, but if the arm we saw in AOE belong to the creators. ..then who did Josh dresign arms for here?

I now eagerly await TF6, where all the continuity issues across all the movies will be tied together and everything will come full circle, including this business with the Creators hands. Maybe. And then the inevitable reboot featuring time travel that will likely wipe the slate clean so the studio can pump out another six movies.

My guess that is the creators hand with their techno organic nature clearly displayed, probably much after the scene on cretaceous earth. Also the size is misleading and is obviously meant to be symbolic. I believe maybe that there is something religious at play but obviously alien in nature

Guys you said so interesting things could I reply to all?:D

When I firstly saw Creator's hand I felt only disgust but now I more and more understand that there is really something familiar in it - holes and symmetrical 7-fingers palm (7! Oh God! ) and simply underlying feeling of similarity

And yeah it could be coincidental but also it could be reasonable, especially if so many people agree with me and Michael Bay hinted to some unexplained things
This is not exactly what I meant. I wanted to say that there is nothing spoiling Transformers race in that they were built like Lockdown said! They're still born in some sense because they're not just programmed machines, their souls was created by the AllSpark and COULDN'T be made by Creators,so Cybertronians still remain a bit supernatural beings
Quintessons in G1 was mechanical not organic but of course sense is the same
And I also think about heads It would be quite logical if they would similar but not at all of course
I always think that ROTF imply that the pharaohs are similar to the First Primes:D  Remember the cult of Sun-god Amon-Ra. In screen-reality ancient Egyptians lived aroun Harvester, they probably had legends about its purpose
As for Autobot insignia - I think that it was firstly used by Knights, although guess about Creators base sounds interesting!
Whoa! I think these concepts was discussed early:D  These hands not the same as Creator's but these deserves its own thread!
Yes you maybe right! Maybe only religion answered who Creators are and what are their purposes?

I was just pondering an idea that i wonder if the creators were aware of alternative dimensions etc much like the multiverse theories of todays physics theorists.....and the original primes were constructed for them to explore these realms but the allspark instead of providing the spark of the primes with mere fuel to power them it provided them with a life force taken from the creators themselves or even something from a higher dimension kinda like the reverse of what happened to Sam in rotf ideas. Am just curious as to....WHY they would have created the primes in the first place, as they seem to be quite the intergalacticpower house all them millionsof years ago.......anyways ideas are just flowing from my head they may not all be gold though lol

...maybe, the creators themselves aspired to be godlike. And the original primes they intended to bond with.....either it went right and they are the primes or it went wrong and something else happened....after all the allspark after aoe's description is translated as the 'all souls'..that has to have some resonance....

I still think they just splintered the transformers universe on purpose....a few films produced simultaneously would be epic especially with continuity in mind

You know, I did think there was something familiar-looking about that arm, although I chalked it up to just resembling some alien from another franchise. But now that you point it out, they do look similar. It stand to reason that if a superior race creates a new form of life as workers or servants, they would choose to make them resembled their creators, as that is what they know and are most comfortable with.

Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness. Genesis 1:26 Who says this isn't the case for the Transformers, or at least the Primes, as well?

I think these are more symbolic than anything. The first picture reminds me of a puppeteer as they're manipulating their marionette. It suggests that the Creators are "playing" with the galaxy, toying with life and the destiny of the Transformers race. Yet at the same time, they are poised to destroy everything if it they become bored with their creation.

The second picture is definitely saying that the Creators are in absolute control. They are a very old race, maybe even the first in the universe to evolve sentience, and thus have had billions of years to develop and become god-like in power. They are not beings to be taken lightly, and I have a feeling that even if Optimus finds them in TF5, he'll never be able to defeat them without some sort of divine intervention.

So basiclly, once the Creators show up, expect shit to really hit the fan.

I didn't think the Primes looked similar to the Fallen since he was their Judas and that's not how they look visually in Aligned

    Ohhhhh believe me, they do
-Explains events that due too time they cant be explained on films
-Explains what happens to characters that disappear on films
-Gives us background to events that do not appear on the films, past, present, futur, etc...

They are canon to every media within its continuity.

Maybe and hopefully we will know who these creators are and see what makes them tick. Even though I kind of find it silly and pray future Transformers media doesn't retcon the Covenant of Primus.

Okay, now this is definitely new to me. I know it's titled "Prisoner" but the aliens on the right...could they be early works for the Creators? I'm hoping it's just prisoners because there's zero robotic parts on them.

I grabbed this from Capcomkai's Flickr page.

I believe that the creators designed and built the AllSpark to create the Transformers race, as in the opening of the first film, Optimus says that it holds the power to create worlds, and fill them with life. In AOE, Optimus again says that thousands of worlds were cyberformed. This would give reason to believe that Cybertron being the center of their race, is not the only planet where Transformers exist.

Lockdown told Optimus the creators wanted him back, because he hadn't done what they built him to do. This would imply to me that Optimus rebelled against them because they asked him to do something that was morally, ethically, wrong. Perhaps destroy a planet to harvest energon like the original Primes?

Whatever the reasons behind this, I think it's safe to presume in part, at least, that whoever the creators are they or at the very least, their intentions, are twisted or evil. Optimus would not oppose them if they were anything but that.

The challenge , I believe for the writers, is to tie in the Allspark, the Primes, and the seeds, all into one continuity. The issue here is that something far greater than the fate of Cybertron exists. The Transformers have been reduced to a threatened species by millenia of civil war, and there now exists proof that a third faction is involved, with the ability to wipe them all out.
