I do think that killing off Bumblebee will have much impact.
Can't imagine how pissed off Optimus would be.

 

I guess it would be simple enough to say that if the MacGuffin doesn't have the body then it would have to format some sort of new body for any of the robots being resurrected.

I think the sticky bit is what would the MacGuffin resurrect the dead robots from? Is there some sort Cybertronian version of the cloud when the sparks are all backed up? Would the film need some sort of Cybetronian religion where the MacGuffin allowed someone to travel to the land of the robot dead to retrieve lost sparks? Even if they had some sort of on board back up that only the MacGuffin could recover there would still be the problem of characters like Ironhide are just little bits of rust.

Did anybody else think hound was gonna die when they were watching AOE? I was actually a little dissapointed because it robbed him of a really great death scene, and it sure looked like he was going to die, too.

 

I did feel like he was gonna die until I realized that they spoiled the final shot of the film with all the autobots in all the TV spots. Hound's stand against the vehicons was still amazing though.
