So I just received Tigris from BBTS. He comes with a completion kit that include some upgrades to the other bots, but he also came with a red face, which I'm assuming can somehow be swapped out for his Yellow face that is on the bot. I didn't find any instructions online, nor with the packaging that describe how to do this process. Has anyone had any luck? He also came with 4 extra black parts outside of the completion kit which i'm not sure where they belong to.
What are the extra parts? Got pictures? It could be something for Talon as those were shipped in a seperate box from Talon.
You mean you got an extra robot mode head? So far as I know, that's the first I've heard of someone getting such a thing. Maybe someone at the factory threw in a newer head upon seeing that your Tigris still had the older-style head. The extra black parts are replacement right elbows for Bovis and Fortis if they're needed.

Very interesting, I only received one face. The face that is red faceplate, are the contours of the eyes still yellow? Also, who is your etailer?
Glad to hear this! I haven't done the elbow mod to mine and have done my best not to move them. I guess now I can just swap them out! Yay!
BBTS was the retailer. The contours are yellow, it's hard to tell that from the picture. I have no idea how to take the current face off. I wish they had sent an entire head, rather than the face plate.
Easy, pull the back piece out, that's it. It's not screwed in or anything, just held by friction. It could be tight so you may need a tool to pull it out.
Update. I was able to replace the face by taking a very small flathead screwdriver and prying it off of the ball-jointed base. It's not glued on at least, but it did take some force to pry it away.
I really appreciate MMC including a second alternate face deco for Tigris. This way, it can be displayed as Rampage in either toy accurate or animation accurate face colours.
That's some cool news. I hope being that mine is in my POL I'll still qualify to have my completion kit.
