It sure does. That was one ballsy surgery. How much cutting and gluing was there?

looking good man! looks a lot cleaner than mine  . Did you use just the wrist from springer or the extra forearm piece as well?

A lego chain works quite well, Bricklink or eBay is a good place to buy one.

I had to cut around the pin that connected the wrists to the junker Springer I have to get to the parts I needed. I didn't have to cut Mania King at all, just tapped the pins out that supported the hands.

No gluing was done, or needed.

    Thanks.

I used Springer's wrists, but they were too long as they were, so I cut them at the end opposite from the hand is mounted. That means I had to cut off Sprigners pin attachments area. I drilled a new pin hole by matching the position of Mania kings original hands to the distance of their pin position.

I think Facebook is your best bet. There are 2 FB pages for them, I'm pretty sure this one is correct (the other one has no new posts since mid-2013).

You should contact who you purchased the figure from first.

is there another figure aside from generations voyager springer to use? I'd hate to cut up springer, being such a great figure

Thanks for advise Curium! by the way, I had already sent them private message via their facebook 2 days ago but still nothing.

Just FYI, I compare my vintage version with other three vintage version and one first version from my friends. None of them found on first version.

    - pic 1 : (in red) like crack but maybe cosmetic issue, found in 3 of 4 vintage version.

    - pic 2 : (red) scratch on chest, found only on mine. (blue) stress mark found in all 4 vintage.

    - pic 3 : (red) stress mark on knee side, only on mine.

    - pic 4 : (red) light stress mark, found on all 4 vintage.

    - pic 5 : (blue) stress mark, 3 found. (red) just like sanding after paint, 3 found. (green) rough cutting edge, 3 found and the last one looks better but still rough.

    - pic 6 : (red) crack, 2 found on vintage.

I mainly collect FP and MMC, this is my first UT product and feel really pain from their quality compare with price. My plan to continue on Ordin project are suddenly stop. :(

But at least Mania king are great in transformation and design. :thumb

That seems exceptionally bad. I wonder if the change in color did the plastic in. The original had some problems, but not this numerous.

Mine in the same color-way version, and doesn't have any of those issues... seeing the photos, I decided to check it more thoroughly, just in case. There's a slight bump on the back of one of the little side-flap thingies I'd never noticed before, but it's barely visible. Other than that, the only issue I've had was some excessive mould flash on the black parts, which was easy to clean away once I recognized it.

I'm sorry to see people are having problems, but it's definitely not universal to the figure.

Just tapped? I've been banging on these things and the pin isn't budging in the slightest. Was it knurled on one end or something, or is mine just weirdly stubborn?

I'm not near the figure now, but I'll try to post one soon.

Yes. The pins on mine came out pretty easily, but I would think the amount of force required would vary by figure. My pin punch was slightly too large, so I used a precision flathead screwdriver. Also on mine the serrated end of both pins was positioned toward the figure.
