Keith wanted me to share these renders of a pair of their upcoming combiners cassettes. You might want to compare them to the G1 characters Dial and Saur (winners of the recent KFC cassette poll!)

I'm pretty sure the brontosaurus will be recolored as not-Sludge and Fullstop. The other one will be recolored into Shift. Shift and Fullstop will form the combiner called Reelthing.

Fullstop and Shift are potentially part of the upcoming Dinominions set, a set of fan-made dinosaur support cassettes for the Dinobots. Here are the original concepts for Fullstop and Shift:

Not really feeling this one either. I wished they had tried to base them a little more on the animation models.

I wish the combined robot had better hands... then again the original didn't even have hands, so that's an improvement, plus the new one has a head that isn't an inch or more away from where it should be.

I might not even wait for Shift and Fullstop depending on how the pricing works out since I don't want the recolored Haymaker and Overslay.

I will buy every re-paint of these molds.
Transformer Cassettes are getting some love from KFC.

*Maybe Keith can do the Stinger molds set get them out soon ,while working on these in the background .

Then do the re-paints G1 Dinos in Silver/gray/red/gold.

These look pretty cool... but after being sucked in by their Squawkbox and Slamdance sets, I'm just not going to buy these unless reviewers say "yeah, this is way better than KFC's earlier efforts."

The only thing I have about KFC cassettes is the tape mode and the round, exposed joints.

Nice to see these are apparently still alive - I was wondering if the cassette line was continuing with the seeming lack of news and KFC's focus on the E.A.V.I. line. I had the G1 KO versions of the dino cassettes, which aren't very good toys, and I'd like to get KFC versions. Even though the combined robot doesn't look totally awesome, it's a huge improvement over the G1 combined robot.

I agree! I get that they're trying to do something different, but they look less like cassettes and more cassette shaped. I've read that they use different designers, bc it seems like after the Ramhorn and Steeljaw, everything else has looked less and less like a real cassette. However, credit is due to whoever is designing these :)

Rhinohorn and Iron Paw were designed by Eagle's TF as his customs, and KFC bought the rights to them.

Oddly, I'm told EchoTF designed Overslay, but the style looks more like the other modern KFC cassettes. I wonder if he made them to look like the KFC style instead of his own.

Haymaker does feature a nice amount of flat surface in tape mode...

Yes, just a little printed/painted tape details would add a lot to them in tape mode. I keep waiting for Reprolabels to do some upgrades, but nothing yet and they have a lot of them to do.

Mirror this sentiment. Think would be smart to work out some joint effort with reprolabels, if he doesnt feel comfortable tackling stickers.

It's not the best paint app ever, but which of these look better? Which looks more like a cassette alt mode?
