No, it starts on 9th October.

I dunno how likely we are to see new stuff at NYCC - Hasbro rarely does much there compared to SDCC.

I hate to be one of those guys, but really? All these sublines... we know AOE didn't do as well as they hoped, and anecdotal evidence from pretty much everyone on every site says that all the simplified sublines are moving the slowest. Yet they're still going to be pushing them?

    Bold.

Chances are they were deep into work on the RiD toyline months if not a good year before the AoE toys even hit shelves. It's not something they're going to be able to change that quickly. Remember how long it took them to react to all the shelfwarming 'Bees?

    Keyword: "Anecdotal evidence."

Which is a fancy word for heresay. My Wal Mart has had the gimmick figures moving slowly, but they've been moving lightspeed compared to the Generations that just sit and collect dust.

AOE didn't perform as well as expected, because no toylines have been performing as well as expected. Toylines everywhere are suffering, because kids are moving to devices and away from toy for entertainment. The gimmick figures are unrelated to AOE struggles, because AOE is still doing better than other toylines.

Yeah, anecdotal evidence means nothing. Production numbers, sell through, restock rates, documented sales are the only things that are evidence.

Remembering from years past I remember they first unveiled Beast Hunters Supreme Predaking at NYCC 2012, I think they revealed First Edition AOE Leader Optimus Prime at last years NYCC?

Usually it's a big item of some kind, though i'd rather hope they just show us wave 1 there.

Yup, and those documented figures show a decline in ALL toy products, yet Transformers still rides high.

Another big fatcor in this is the ridiculous cost of Ethenol. They may very well be selling the same or more than previous years, but they're making less profit because production costs have skyrocketted.
