Good to know. A few dents I can deal. If it was legit smashed I'll be bummed. Long as the figure inside is all good I'll be happy. If they ship the damn thing anytime soon. Can't wait to be done with them. Once this shipment comes in I have no store credit or preorders or a reason to shop there anymore .

 

I just got mine from TFSource. Dumb question. I haven't really gotten a chance to look at it too closely, but where is the on switch for the light? I couldn't locate it on first glance.

 

not too hard to fix the wrists... hardest thing was getting the old ones out. i just need a junker generations springer [or just his forearms] and then he can transform.

of course i will make a guide too.

I used this part here from DOTM topspin? the blue wrecker with the mullet? dunno. It's his upper arm part. The forearm is chopped off, and then the ball joint socket is removed. Then I just sanded it to fit the fanstyle mp streak/prowl/smoke hands which i got in gray


upper part was used, lower was discarded


the hand assemble are removeable and stay in due to friction in robot mode, but can't be stored in alt mode. if anyone wants to give me the forearms for generations springer/sandstorm, i MIGHT be able make a transforming version. not sure though due to the size of the hands, he no longer has little girl hands.

 

If you can't find it, it isn't dumb. Better then not taking advantage of a feature you want.

The switch is on the 2nd bulge of the barrel.

I was hoping the box on v2 was going to be just as good as the box on v1. V1 box is so much nicer.

 

But the V2 figure is much nicer looking then V.

Michaels art store has little lengths of chain, apparently. Haven't been out to check yet, but that's the scuttlebutt. I hope to find one to fit the BiS chrome matrix.

 

I replaced my Mania King's hands, and wrists with Generations Springers. I might paint them purple, if I can match the color.

 

But can it transform? Looks terrific either way.

The tab that connects the arms together in cannon mode won't tab in completely, only about halfway. Everything still lines up correctly, and retains the same shape as before.
I thought the rear of the cannon mode, the section that is made from the arms was the weakest part of an otherwise fantastic looking mode.

Personally I don't see much of a difference in cannon mode after the mod, it looks about the same as before, but swivel wrist makes the robot mode much better.
