I think what the OP is asking is for people to rank the five movies in order of preference, rather than point out that there are indeed 5 of them.

 

To pick a top anything in the Transformers films there would have to be at least one film that I wasn't totally disappointed with. I guess a list of least bad to absolute worst, but that is kind of like making a list of being sick, sure a cold isn't as bad as food poisoning but that doesn't make having a cold any fun.

I haven't seen Age of Extinction yet, and I'm counting Predacons Rising because it tops everything else for me. It's the only one that I wouldn't have regreted seeing in theaters... if it had been shown in theaters...

It's not that difficult?! The thread's title is "top 5 Transformers films", indicating something about "5" of the films. Then the OP states his top "5" Transformers films. My only guess is that we get to tell people what our/your favorite 5 are. I get that a less confusing title would be in order here, but, I don't see no Rocket science here either.

I know we all have different opinions but you liked Rotf and Dotm more than TF1?

 

Yeah mainly because of all the new characters which were introduced, i know its different to most opinions haha  

 

TFTM (1986) - I can't help it!
TFPBH: PR - I'm not really sure if this belongs here since it feels more like two more episodes appended to TFPrime.
DOTM-AOE - tied. I thought that these were the better installments of the movie-verse. I enjoyed Leonard Nimoy's Sentinel Prime, the Decepticon invasion, and the fight with the Autobots in Chicago. With that said, AOE gave Optimus actual character development and had a darker story than the previous three, cutting the cheesy 'humor' and the like.
RotF - I realize that this isn't all that popular, but it did gives us one of the best Prime/Megatron throw downs in the entire history of TF with the forest battle and everything leading up to that was gold. Not too happy with much else on that from I'm afraid.
