I'd imagine it's straight from the factory.

 

Is this literally a Prime Arcee remold or a "remold" in the same sense that energon starscream was a "remold" of smokejumper? Because really all I am seeing that could be the same is the chest, everything else looks different.

 

She is a major, major retool of the PRiD Arcee mold. Energon Starscream wasn't a remold so much as a new mold based on the same transformation, I reckon, having both those guys in my collection.

I fully agree with everyone about the smoked plastic being clear as a big minus to this figure.. But I wanna get her and see if I can dye that to smokey clear. We will see!

 

I have to agree. ---^ The tinting helped to hide the kibble under the canopy and ditching it sucks big time. This isn't going to stop most of us from buying the figure, but knowing she could have had tint and Hasbro decided to cheap out just chaps my ass cheeks.

 

Odd I see chromia but my mind is telling me with the right head and maybe a little bulkier and that's pre-beast wars tarantulas.

 

Hey guys,check out the #8 pic of Chromia and tell me if you see certain Conehead likenesses in Chromia's knee caps. I swear on my life they look like Dirge or Ramjet.That is so Righteously Epic,now I know I am gonna love that figure.

 

I wonder if I can give her deluxe IDW Prime ax, so she can have a melee weapon like the comic.

The only problem would be all of the female parts (aligning with Chromia and PRID Arcee) which obviously wouldn't apply to Afterburner. That is unless they make him a her, which wouldn't be out of the question. But ultimately I can see Hasbro going that route, if they are able to sandwich in a connector port for including Afterburner as part of the 2015 gestalt push.

I know starscream was a new mold, thats what I meant here if chromia wasnt a new tool that was based on arcee

 

Love it but I have to say the new Gen. Arcee is the best looking fembot to date. All the right curves. Hats off to the designer.

No offense to the person who brought this early look to us, but these badly mistransformed shots probably do more harm than good, and they sure are common.

 

Whenever I see the 'pictures' from this ebay seller, all I imagine is this:

 

What do you expect from people that can't transform G1 Thrust, Dirge & Ramjet properly?

Doesn't look like it's having any effect/affect on the bidding.

 

Is there actually any kind of "price justification" on changing from the clearly better looking smokey plastic to the clear? Is there really any excuse for it?
