Avoid Ebay seller ds_global at all costs.

I bought two items from this seller:

    - The first one arrived in a caved-in/crushed flimsy card-board box, with two layers of bubblewrap wound around the item and no other padding. It was also damp/wet. Furthermore, it was shipped almost two weeks after I got the shipping notice.
    - The second one arrived on time, in an equally flimsy box. Again few to no padding, so the item's box was partially crushed and the item itself had a piece broken off.

Seller gives no reply to emails with complaints.

Don't buy any MI(S)B items from this guy, they won't arrive mint (if they ever do arrive).

I gotta disagree with you and Malach Ra and agree with Megatroptimus on the feedback thing. No it's not as important as flat out con artists, but it is still important. No you're not OBLIGATED to give feedback, but if you don't you should not expect to receive any (do unto others...) and if nobody gave feedback the system would fall apart.

We're not just talking about people who fail to give feedback 'in a timely fashion', we're talking about people who more often then not don't leave feedback at all and don't plan on it.

Ra: feedback is just as important for buyers as sellers man, buyers need to establish a feedback base too, and buyers often later become sellers, for which as you say you need a big build up of +ive feedback to get people to buy from you. Maybe repeatedly emailing and filing a complaint over not leaving feedback is a bit over the top, but to consider a seller 'bad' because they routinely neglect to leave feedback is VERY fair. Especially if they get mad when you haven't left them their feedback, as was the case with ebayID: 'crystal lake nights' for me, and it was my first ebay purchase so I really needed the feedback (payed him instantly, etc. to make sure to make a good impression).

Got a missile for my Reflector, saying it was in perfect condition, when I got it the tip was snapped slightly! I was pissed, and they won't refund.

    wheeljack's Lab

Sometime in the late summer too, I ordered Afterburner's weapons (all 3), and he forgot the gun after about a month of waiting!! after waiting another 2 weeks I got the gun after I proved I paid for it!

Mine came in a flimsy box too with the same condition Colorflash mentioned. The parcel came on time though. The item was supposed to be 'MOSC' but the card has so many creases on it. Don't know if it is from shipping or it was originally like that. However, he sometimes offer good deal on his items. Go ahead and offer him a price if there is such option, and make sure you check his store page as this is where he put the deals there. I got my item more than 60% off from the BIN price and therefore I am not complaining. If you want something in perfect box/card condition, think twice before you buy/bid from ds_global.

He also leaves retaliatory feedback if you leave him a neutral or negative and complain about the packaging.

This clown advertised a lot of TF's as near mint so I win them and then recieve a cyclonus with a superglued arm and broken nosecone, an ultra magnus with no arms and a broken tailgate, a fangry with solid locked in place legs, a weirdwolf with monzo that had snapped arms and a hotspot that was piss yellow, obviously these were not mint and I put in a dispute after asking for a refund and recieved this wonderful reply

''I sold these for my son who has had major eye surgery and is now blind, I know nothing of these toys''

Fair enough if it were true but the dick expects me to ignore all his old feedback up until I bought my lot which includes his previous buys and sales which include ............you guessed it nearly all TFs. He is a total dick who has no clue about anything and expects me to believe his bull, if he lived near me I would stick one on the dick!!!!!!!

The guy pops up and sells test shots occasionally and had a black Side Burn...Unreleased G2 colors so NATURALLY I bite on it. Pay him and anxiously await my package, when it comes it isn't the Viper in the pic at all...its an unpainted Hot Shot. Naturally I'm pissed...the auction CLEARLY showed a black Viper. I try to e-mail several times and get nothing until (whatta ya know) the day I file a Paypal complaint! He offers to make good on the transaction if I send back the Hot Shot...which I GLADLY do, costing me another $20, but worth it to get the right toy...then I get....NOTHING! Paypal closed the complaint since we were going to settle it and wont reopen now that the time has expired!

Same thing happened to me with gltoystore. He claimed a Re-issue Ricochet was MISB. When I got it, there was tape on the outside, but when I opened it, the instructions were gone and the stickers were all already applied (and a few were missing).

I still planned on keeping the item despite the false advertising, so I left a neutral feedback.

The guy interpreted it as an insult to "his good name" and left me negative feedback. I explained to him why I left neutral, and he didn't care.

If you're ever buying DVDs off ebay never buy from extranicenikki1, because he will rip you off on shipping, and send you crap-tastic bootlegs. Also for TFs he used to have the name OrgotholJr on ebay I believe but he'll rip you off too and never send you the items. I bought stuff from him about two years ago which included all the combiner parts for Predaking, and Divebomb among a bunch of other thing. Two months go past, he won't email me back, no packagae, and the Money Order company said he cashed the MO and that they couldn't refund my money, so I'm out $100 and no TFs to show for it.

I'll weigh in on wheeljackslab on good and bad counts. In this thread the bad:

He almost always over-grades the stuff he sells. If he says it's C9 or mint, it's probably C7.5-C8 at best on everyone else's scales. His emails are often short and sometimes kind of rude and if you ask him more than one question in the email he will address the one he wants to answer and just ignores the rest.

His auction photos leave a lot to be desired and he almost always angles them so that they hide wear or damage as much as possible. Sometimes strips stuff from the "loose" figures that shouldn't be stripped and doesn't indicate it - example: Tripticon's orange eye cover, helipads, and the end of the ramp, which he then tries to sell seperately.

try to rip me off. Auction was to have 6 gen one toy , all in like new condition, and 100% complete. NONE of were complete. 1 of them as a reiusse. and Hound was missing all together. Then come to find out he is double posting some of the toys in serval different auction he has up at the same time. Then he try to say that it must of been taking out of the package after he mail it off, and that as far as connern the deal was complete and that he is not to blam for item coming up missing during shipment. Well he sure did change his mind once I filed a clam with paypal. Seam to be doing this to a lot of ebayers as well. Stay clear off this loser

This guy is horrible. Bought a Classics Starscream from him that he just jammed in a box that was too small and wrecked the card. The blister even started to tear away from the card. Wouldn't even give me a partial refund. Stay away from him.

Update: Paypal issued me a partial refund of $14, not bad considering I paid $20.50 shipped.

I bought a custom Alt. Trailbreaker from him. I paid immediately the day I bought it (march 7), and after nearly month I finally received it. I look at the postage date, because I'm not an idiot and I know how the postal system works. He mailed the damn thing on April 3. I left him positive feedback because I did get the item, but returns feedback with "Sorry you feel took too long I note the possiblity of long shipping in the text". I wish I could've left another that said he also says he'll mails items every Friday.

bought 3 toys from them at a good price, they said they had them in stock, then they contact me and tell me theyve cancelled my order. come to find out they cancelled my order to sell the toys, i have already bought and paid for, at a higher price just because the ebay averages went up. and he told me straight to my face over the phone that this is what was happening and thats how it is. these guys wont be around for long at all if they keep doing this kind of stuff to people. I already paid....I cant belive this bullshit.

I've dealt with wjl. Not bad. I always got what I ordered or won on ebay. But, sometimes the items where not exactly how he described it. Or if you bid on two separate parts of a character, you always only win one. Even if no one is bidding on those items, all of a sudden you lose the second item. Forcing you to purchase the second item from his website. And then he would not combine the shipping.

I'm having a big problem with wheeljackslab right now.

Most of his auctions are around $5 to ship for a single TF.
I checked out this KO Starscream he had for sale and when I looked at the auction the description says "Shipping: Shipping is $5.00 for this item."
The auction ends at $11.51 but when I get the invoice the shipping is $25.00.
I don't know if this was a mistake on his part or what so I email him and he confirms that the shipping was indeed $25.
Apparently he accidentally listed the item with $25 shipping price but still listed it as $5 in the auction description.
I obviously would have never thrown a bid at the auction had I known the shipping was $25.

Here is a link to the auction:

    He sends me this email.
    Wheeljackslab:
it's $25, and I told everyone who asked be that had to be 50 people. Reason being in the search and listings pages on ebay, it showed as $25, this meant 50% who would have looked did not, and most of those that did would not bid. Thus if it was $5 shipping it would have ended much higher and that's what I told everyone who asked, I said it's the higher of the two.

    2 things:
    1. if so many people asked about the shipping price, why didn't he list the questions and answers in the auction?

    2. If he knew it was a mistake, why didn't he just revise the auction and change the shipping price in the auction description, which still said $5.

I have tried to get him to meet me half way or something and he won't even respond. Now he has filed a unpaid item dispute.

At this point, I am afraid that even if I do bit the bullet and pay his overpriced shipping, he won't send the item out and say that he did from the bad things I have been reading about him here and elsewhere on the Internet.

Fuck that, He listed $5 shipping so its $5 shipping. Thats his own fucking fault. Edit: I see he has conflicting shipping prices, still I'd fight him over that because $25 is too much money for such a small item.

My deal with him is that I won a Complete G1 Starscream and he never sent the fist. I emailed once and he said he would send it. Guess I gotta email him again.
