Finally! After maybe a year,or close to it anyhow, of owning this guy. I know I'm highly late to the game on this one but...I'm not a fan of the new AOE Dinobots. At any rate,Grimlock here has filled in biceps,thighs and hips using Greenstuff all sanded smooth.He is sporting the Iron Factory add on kit and modified 3rd Party MP Datsun Bro's fully articulate hands made by Fan Style.Lots of test fitting,Greenstuf and sanding to make that happen.But damnit am I glad I used them on this guy.They worked out perfectly.Although the gun that comes with the Iron Factory kit I glued together has a stubby handle made to peg into the original hands and is a little short for these hands.I will have to fix that. Base coated Flat Black then added all the FOC glow effects,then multiple layers of Acrylic gradient grays starting off with a Navy Blue,Gray,Ghost gray,then Enamel Brass,Flat Red,Enamel Rogue Red & Stoplight Metallic Red and then Acrylic Metallic Gray and Chrome Silver.The Sword and Shield I did in Acrylic gradients of Fluorescent red(Orange),a custom mix of the Fluorescent Red and Yellow,Yellow,a custom mix of Yellow and Flat white then white highlights. Finally dull coated and Wah-La! FOC Grimlock.
That looks amazing! Fantastic job! The glow effects you did on him are really outstanding! That sword and shield are sweet too!
Thanks fellas. Yeah, I wasn't so sure how the sword and shield were going to turn out because the fluorescent red (orange) wasn't taking to covering the flat black too well at first.

Thanks all! Life is crazy busy and has been real stressfull the last two weeks but all in all between how this came out and that I will be a new parts manager at my job, it is all worth it.Btw, he is up for bid.
