Really simple. Everything is screw fitted so you don't have to worry about removing pin joints or anything. All you need is a screwdriver and you're away.

You guys make me want to buy the 2 sets. They are awesome! Do any of you guys know how many versions there are of this dino set? There are 2 versions of the Defensor look-alike. A taller and a smaller one. Are there 2 different sizes for the dinos as well?

One size, two color schemes. Must say I got them and I kinda hate them. Not bad for 50 dollars but they are ugly and the quality is not that good. With so many good dinobots on the way, I'm just waiting to throw them away.

I still like 'em, but I know what you mean. They released them at the wrong time... or maybe at JUST the right time, before everybody went Dinobot crazy.

I was planning on repainting mine G1 style, but with all the 3P Dinos coming, it feels sort of redundant. I kind of wish I got the movie-coloured version now, just so they'd stand out more on the shelf.

I have 2 conventions in October. If they are not for sale there I'll buy them on Ebay. I want both, the dino set and the smaller more detailed rescue set. Not sure on the dino set colors. Original or Age of Extinction redeco. I think these 2 sets will go great with my combiner focused collection.

I just got these yesterday and they are AWESOME. The quality is great, and they are HEFTY, unlike all the official toys they make now. I love the designs and transformations. The only issue is the colors, but that can be changed with a little paint as seen a few pages back.

I was expecting knockoff quality when I ordered these, but I have been pleasantly surprised. $76 shipped for a full set of "Classics" Dinobots that just need some painting? WAY better than $500 or so for all the other options.

I still really dig these lil dudes. The price is right, the feel is on par with Hasbro releases, and since they are kinda a random set here in the states, you can make up any back story for em that you choose. These guys are Shockwaves first attempt to make/mix dinobots and combiners in my TF world- that accounts for the size, design and color differences from the more powerful and larger Dinobots. Random cons abducted and changed.

Modding these guys actually made me enjoy them even more than I already did. Some folks might dog on them with everything else coming out, but this is still the best value to fun purchse I've made all year.

I think you'll like it. It has it's flaws, due to it clearly hitting a budget wall, but it's still pretty nice.

This is precisely why I'm getting these guys, great value for money, leaving me cash for other figures and the customiser in me sees so much potential. Really pumped about getting these now!

After getting the Star Rescue Team in today, I think I'm gonna have to order these guys next. The quality is really quite good all things considered, and if the Dinobots are as good as the Rescue guys then I think I'll be very pleased.

Absolutely! I would say the Dinos are even nicer than the Rescue Team. The the plastic feels a bit better, and the Dino figures are heavier, tougher, and more solid in general. The T-Rex has shoulder issues in bot mode, the removeable tail gimmick sort of bothers me, and two of the Dinos have extremely similar transformations... but on the whole, it's a fantastic set for the price.

Mine arrived today, and ive got to say, i'm impressed by the quality of these. very sturdy plastic. after a few mods they're almost perfect. could just do with some more ports for the dino tails and not-swoops wings. anyone know if not-slags head can be modded to slide back for robot mode?

So I ordered these guys, but not from Sirtoys this time. They must really be heavier than the other, because the shipping rate Sirtoys gave me was significantly higher than for the Rescue Team. Thankfully, chinmungmung had them for the same post-shipping price I payed for their counterparts.

Can't wait to have my own set of combining robo-dinos.

That's odd, I've ordered both from SirToys and they were equal in price and in shipping costs.

It could be country shipped to. Only other thing I can think of is if they changed something since you ordered. I'm betting on the first.
