The Blu-ray's and DVD's covers are not usually the same and that sucks cause Blu-ray's covers are better

 

Such lacklustre font for a Transformers logo.

 

This set looks so awesome! But I do understand why Sentinel isn't on it. At least Shockwave gets an awesome picture!

Well like I just said about the marketing not being as good since ROTF, DOTM both had the same cover except for the 3D edition.

 

Cool how they used the '67 version of Bee instead of any of the concept Camaro versions.

 

I know the movie's been out for three years but do you think they'd honestly put a giant spoiler on the Blu-Ray case?

 

Funny how they're still trying to fool people into thinking Shockwave was the main villain. Would've loved to have seen Sentinel in his place. At this point I really don't think it matters if someone who hasn't watched DotM watches it knowing Sentinel was the villain.

 

Exactly my point but I understand everyone else's opinion. For the people who are not really familiar with the films, wouldn't they be confused to why Shockwave is said to be the villain but ends up not really talking or much screen time? Well he had good part of screen time but there at least could of been an awesome stand off between him and Optimus. Not just Optimus pulling his eye out and that's it. CYBERTRONIAN KNUCKLE PUNCHERS!

 

It avoids the twist being spoiled.

That's a good thing.

 

If I was into that sort of thing, I'd just wait for the eventual Saga packs with both trilogies.

If they were afraid of them being confused, they wouldn't have hyped Shockwave as the main villain before the film came out. I think people who aren't familiar with the films would be more confused as to why they would have such an obvious hint to a major plot twist on the case.

As a side note, THAT'S AN AWESOME LOOKING CASE!!! 

 

It's intended to cover up the betrayal twist. If people see Sentinel, they're going to know something's up. Besides, Shockwave is better.

 

This... And MAYBE the slight chance that someone purchasing it hasn't actually seen all the films, hence not wanting to ruin Sentinels surprise betrayal. After all it's not just us fans, nor fans that knew the truth before the movie was even released, that will be purchasing this set.

Well most of the time, the big collection packs are for the fans like us? You won't really get an average person buying an awesome looking collection like this, they would just buy the standard edition, but yeah it's an awesome collection.

 

Well, for people who haven't seen it, Sentinel's face would've been a huge spoiler immediately. No one wants a spoiler on the box, not even if they've already seen the movie.

 

You can't guarantee that nobody who hasn't seen the films will buy it. And what if a fan wanted to show it to a friend?

"Hey, let me get this DVD to show you. Just don't look at the case. It'll spoil the movie."
