Would've liked Roadbuster better if they had used the Roadbuster Wild deco: a dark green jeep with lighter colors in robotmode. Would've made a nice hommage to the color variant of the Dorvack Calibur.

 

Starscream looks good. The Doubledealer head works well as a seeker head. Being a triple changer is new for him but its only because of the mold. Robot mode and jet mode came first. The tank is just a happy extra.

G1 Roadbuster repainted into Super Link Roadbuster.

Its all due to the characters sharing the same name, very loosely similar vehicle modes and nothing more.


As far as Hellwarp goes, who else can they repaint Sky-Byte into? Cybershark is the most obvious and I hope is done sometime. But after him...? I don't want him as Gnaw or a generic Sharkticon.

Y'know...actually I think Hasbro might be the ones to do that for redecos of the mold later. They already did Ovelon homage using the Movie Evac remold a few years back...so they definitely acknowledge Dorvack. Hopefully we can get both Whirl and Roadbuster done up in these schemes.

Transformers Cloud has really some strange repaints... But for something exclusive... OK... I'm glad for the Cloud Optimus they gave us! Although he was too expensive actually. But he had the perfect deco. I have only minor nitpicks which could still be improved. And even Starscream was a nice repaint, but I already have Blitzwing.

The new repaints... even less interested, but still they are inspired.

 

Would that be Sunstorm or Acid Storm colors?

As weird as the idea is, I really like Hellwarp. Ironhide's okay, I guess it's cool that they went for something that isn't G1.

 

I like these a lot better than the Shockwave/Starscream/Rodimus jobs. Makes me wonder what they'll do for Brainstorm & Rhinox.
