Maybe he could be a visitor from the future. With warnings of doom. He might take after his mother. He could be Sam's relative or something. Like how in the Marvel comics Spike was Buster's brother. He could be Sam's Uncle Daniel. Just nameslap it in there for the hell of it.
Just one more Witwicky and that's it! I mean true Cade takes over the main human role, but Daniel can take over his father's role but as his own person not like Sam. In fact, Sam and Carly can only appear as flashbacks.
What if Daniel's parents were killed years ago before Age of Extinction? Maybe Sam left some words to Optimus and the others if something happened to them, they'd help Daniel carry their legacy if the Cons return. And perhaps if Shane didn't return, Daniel will be the new guy for Cade's daughter. Daniel and Cade can team up against Galvatron. Daniel could lead a group of rebels somehow. AND don't you people say Daniel shouldn't return, I CAN SEE MY VISIONS RIGHT!
I am getting really tired of the whole lets do g-1 with everything, G-1 was good but its in the past move on already.
Please no more Witwickys. Sam did nothing but whine and his parents were a whole new level of annoying. If we have to have human characters, then I say, bring back: Lennox, Epps, Cade and maybe Simmons.
Agreed. I got to give these movies credit for creating a bunch of new characters instead of just rehashing the old ones.

All I want for the next movie is to have at least ONE new character to take over Sam's legacy. At least ONE Witwicky take over if Daniel doesn't return. Someone to be Tessa's new boyfriend NOT that biker, who I'm not impressed with. At least fight alongside Cade.
