The moment I saw the new Bumblebee, I thought he'd make an awesome Waspinator. Straight repaint with Citadel and Tamiya paints, with a little Citadel Green Stuff in the visor to pin it in place. First in a series; I plan to do AoE Hound as Rhinox next.

Looks great!! After animated now, every time I see bumblebee I think of waspinator, not cliffjumper. I still think the should have called stinger waspinator and had him green in AOE.
Funny, the very first time I pulled his mask down the first thing I thought of was how he resembled Waspinstor! Looks good!
Yeah, I was trying a new Tamiya spray can and it was more powerful than I was expecting. I'm used to Citadel. I'm going to try and clean it up when I get the same shade in a pot. I didn't plan this in advance or prime it properly, I kinda leapt in without looking.
neat idea, but you should thin down the paint, looks kinda thick and sticky, this causes flaking and rubbing issues
yeah.. and the lines are rather sloppy in camaro mode.. but other than that, i love the concept and i think the robot mode looks fantastic.. to me it looks like two different people worked on this lol. i assume you'll be touching up and getting rid of those yellow bits that are popping through.
As much as I'm not a fan of Waspinator, this is a good idea. The mask especially looks like him. Since I like this design for Bee and the colour green, I look forwards to your updated pics.
